Just curious, how much do they charge for that?

1200.00, I’ve never done it personally but that’s the price on the website.

I want to start a pressure washing business. I would be pressure washing apartment complex’s’ in Minnesota.

Winter is almost over and I’m ready to be outside.

Specifically washing their outdoor parking lots, underground garages, indoor chutes (rubbish & recycle) and 4-10 yard garbage dumpsters, along with trash compactors and containers.

I want to do it correctly (legally) but to be honest I have gotten lost in an internet black hole when it comes to any laws that govern this type of activity.

I would be using a hot water pressure sprayer sometimes combined with dish soap or a chemical degreaser. My pressure washer operates at 3600 PSI.

I have not been successful at finding any specifics related to MPCA and EPA for licensing/ permits /regulations.

Hey Everyone, Proper newby here. Starting my home services business in May this year, in Saskatchewan Canada. with Power washing being the primary offering of the business. I’ve purchased proffesional rig (not recommended I know, but I want to go into this with the right equipment as I am already on a first name business with an unfair amount of commercial property owners, and I locked down a pretty good deal on a lightly used rig, with an agreement to provide field training on a couple properties). I’m completely new to powerwashing and I’ve been going to Youtube university, which unfortunately seems to be a lot of guys just doing voiceovers on timelapse montages, so it’s a bit tough to find the structured info I’m looking for. Everyone raves about this forum on the r/pressurewashing subreddit and it’s naturally came up in some search results, so here I am! What I’m hoping to learn from on this forum the most initially, is the industry standard chemicals and their ratios for as many applications as possible, and just the correct in-field process for all the different applications. I’ve found It’s not the easiest to find the proper chemical info online because of self promotion of products by companies and their influencers. With that being said, I’m looking to learn as much as I can as a whole as I want to be a craftsman with this and the trusted expert that people in my area would go to when they want it done right. I also think I bring something to the table for this forum. I currently run a design company that designs and builds websites, brand identities, and apps. Through this I also have set up a ton of Google My Business listings, Implemented SEO in almost every avenue, ran lots of Facebook ad campaigns, etc. Don’t worry, I’m not here to weasel my way in to sell any of those services to the users here, I’m not taking any more client work in that industry starting in May anyway. But, I am experienced in digital marketing and am an expert in the website and design industry so i feel can offer a lot for insights and hacks on the business end of things in that regard. Thanks for having me and I look forward to learning from & helping the community.

Welcome.

Here is a lot of mix percentages for SH (12.5% bleach/Sodium Hypochlorite/Liquid Chlorine/Pool Shock) and what surfaces to use them on. If you’re unsure always test a small area.

Basic cleaning procedures:
1: Talk to client upon arrival
2: Take photos
3: Tape off outlets/bag gutters/etc
4: Pre wet vegetation
5: Apply chems
6: Wet vegetation again and wait
7: Rinse off chems
8: Wet vegetation again
9: Pack up/take after photos
10: Collect money

Thanks

My name is Tim and I’ve been in real estate for the past 18yrs and am long overdue for a change/adjustment. I’ll keep my license active, but am really excited about getting into this business. I know enough fellow Realtors that I can call to get referral business which I know will give me a good start. Right now I’m trying to do as much research as possible as I want to do the job(s) correctly. I’m going to be focusing on residential services for now. I love working outside and actually started a lawn/landscape business that I ran from 2010-2013, then sold. I’ve found this website/it’s members to be indescribably helpful with your sharing of knowledge/experience and I am so grateful. As I said, I’m in the research phase, but have pretty much figured out my setup I think. I just purchased my 5x8 trailer this morning and will be adding a pressure washer (min.4K psi), 2 hose reals w/150-200ft hoses, a surface cleaner and some miscellaneous items for optional services. Now I just need to acquire everything. I’m so ready to get started, but like I said, I want to make sure I’m doing these jobs correctly…I don’t want to do something stupid and possibly cause damage to someone’s property. I like to do my research! Thank you to all the members on here for taking the time to write posts, respond to questions and for sharing your knowledge/expertise…it is greatly appreciated. I look forward to learning as much as possible from you guys!

Hi everyone! I’ve been reading and studying as much as I can from all of you.
My name is Kevin “Juice” and I’m from the tripe landlocked state of Nebraska. I’m a career firefighter and like many of my fellow brothers/sisters I’m working on getting my 2nd job up and going. In the process of building my trailer based with a 5.5gpm belt drive unit and soft wash system. Just making sure I’m learning as much as I can from all of you knowledgeable people and making sure all my i’s are dotted and t’s crossed. I’ve also picked up @TexasPressureWashing book and have been going over that a bunch.

I would really like to say thank you to all the moderators/admins of this forum for creating and maintaining an amazing place for everyone to get together and share their knowledge. Also a huge thank you to all of you dedicated professionals for sharing your wealth of knowledge with everyone else.

ps I know how to use the search bar :joy:

Hey there! My name is Matt and I’m from Indiana. I’ve been operating a window cleaning business for the last 18 years here and on occasion we’ll do a small siding cleaning or driveway, patio, sidewalk ect. It’s. It something I’ve never advertised but take on some of these jobs as they come in. To be honest I get so much enjoyment out of these jobs and always love them when I get them. This year I want to get some worthy equipment as I’ve been using a 2.5gpm, a pump sprayer to apply bleach and small surface cleaner and start pushing these jobs in addition to our window cleaning service. Excited to join this community!
