HighViewPressure

My name is Ervin Green, I’m from Northern Virginia, often referred to as the DMV. I’ve been in security operations for the most part since I graduated from college (2012). However, I started OTR trucking in 2022, did that for 2 years and spent some time pressure washing my truck and trailer which peaked my interest. I had no idea that this industry was this vast. What I thought of as a side hustle actually has the potential to become a career!

The name “High View” is from a park located in the Hall’s Hill neighborhood in Arlington, VA. This neighborhood was segregated at one point and was viewed as the “projects”. The buildings were mostly brick and the building that the logo represents still stands today. Though now white in color (still referred to as “the red apartments”) it is the highest point of the neighborhood, merging the two made sense. My family is from here going back 3-4 generations and while it has changed a bit, there is still a strong sense of community. I wanted to lean into something that would always connect me back to my roots. If any of you have time, do a quick google search. There is a wall at the back of the neighborhood that was the dividing line between the African Americans on Hall’s Hill and those that were not, it is a historical landmark that not many know about. Check it out if you have some time…

I look forward to speaking with you all and I’m excited to be apart of this community. Thank you in advance, all of you. Lets make the most of our opportunities!
