Did you get the low cut ones man I love mine. I’m sure they do seam hot compared to a croc but i like my toes
I typically do not use a soap in my mix. It’s just x-jet bleach. The only times I have got this is when I did not rinse thoroughly enough and it dried.
Rinse till you think it’s good then do it again it’s not hard and takes up much less time then having to go back
Just got these from my wife’s work on Thursday. Wore them out on Friday and love em. Light and comfortable. It was getting way to hot for the full size boots and it’s no fun having wet feet all day from wearing running shoes.

Cant beat XtraTuff… the shorts ones like you recommend are great… they wont hold up as long as the shorts Muck Boots i had, but i feel the Xtra’s are cooler.
I strongly recommend the cheap XtraTuff all white Shrimp boots. Ill switch to those once its a bit cooler or jobs is a bit nastier than normal… they are only like $30, i keep a pair in each truck.

Are those the ones you see the guys wearing on swamp people? My wife watches a lot of American tv and is always laughing at the stuff people are wearing. I laugh too, but inside I am always “but do they work effectively” lol.

Change your shoes between jobs bring extra socks.
Tried those and didn’t like them
Be very careful it’s not the wound that you can see that you need to worry about. If you got it up under the skin it will get seriously infected.
I love them but I change my shoes when I get to the job
