We just use a pump up sprayer with maybe 2-3 ounces mixed into a 1 gallon sprayer and pre-wet then spray then mist down the siding. Removes the brown stain every time and I tried the re soaping technique and this way works much better. Everyone has there own technique and this one i like and use.

You’re using high pressure on that house and
you’re wearing crocks which should be illegal in all states and is extremely unprofessional. You look like you’re wearing some sort of band shirt which is okay if that’s your own house of course, but if you showed up to wash my house dressed like that and looking how you do in your profile picture I’d tell you to kick rocks. Look how you want on your own time but make an effort to look professional when working. Not trying to knock you down, I’m just being honest

Good reply Max. I must have typed like three responses instead of that pic, just couldn’t get the word to look like anything but an attack.
Professionalism is definitely high on the list, but if nothing else, think of it from a safety aspect. Protect your feet properly, a serious foot injury will haunt your professional and personal life till the end. There are three things you want to preserve at a minimum: eyes, hand, and feet.

Woah woah woah! I’m gonna need you to take about 50% off there @anon37135677. Crocs are amazing. I’m about to get the new style where they have a bit more traction on the strap so I can really bog deep

LOL put them puppies in 4 low and got the yard mowed!

I agree they’re unprofessional. Then again, I’ve done quite a bit of flatwork in flip flops LOL most of my customers probably think I’m some laid back hippie dude. My hair is longer than it’s ever been, my beard is grown out, I rock the flip flops everywhere I can.

A while back I used to wear my sandals for pretty much everything at home when it came to yard related stuff. Took a piece of wire into my big toe that shot out from under the mower.
Since then I make sure to wear my steel toes for powered equipment, work or personal. Keeps it of my mind.

Yes I agree about not using high pressure to clean houses or wearing band t shirts. I was waiting on my uniform. But I see no other way than crocs for power washing…

I like to muck boots they make a low cut version I wear them every day. Croc does make a tennis shoe version that look alot more professional.

Wait til a turbo nozzle goes across your foot on accident.

In all reality I can’t thank you guys enough for pointing out my faults. It’s my first year pressure washing coming from window cleaning background. I am building an 8gpm hot water power washing unit now (absolutely beautiful) with my father and getting my business down. It’s super great to be apart of these group learning from guys. When I tell my buddies how far I have to go you guys are the inspiration! Thanks for answering questions and pointing out novice actions😎
