Truck washing (Soaps, Tips and Tricks)

Not sure how cold it gets where you are @Kleen. I have no doubt this would hold up in -20° weather.

The underarmour base layer, make sure it’s a compression/tight fit. Silk weight over that, then the waffle top over that. You might get away without having to wear a coat and just go with your wet weather top.

How do yall send over a link ? Be descriptive please, I’m no good at this crap .

Dude… the ninja suit over under armor, with a polypro (or my favorite the old fashioned wool OD sweater) and rain gear is the ■■■■. Only had to break out the ECWS gortex a few times in 5 years with that combo.

If you are on just your phone, you have to get to where the address is shown. press and hold till it asks you to copy url to clipboard (android phone I believe asks that). Come here and press and hold in the box where you type and paste from clipboard

I’ve been in the field at -27°, and had this combo and it will keep you alive. I was still cold as we were getting 30+ MPH winds, but I wasn’t in danger of freezing to death. I refused to wear my marshmallow coat and pants.

It never got that dang cold at my duty stations, but we moved around so dang much that if you dressed to warm you started sweating… and you know what happens then the moment you have to pull overwatch or stop for the night.

exactly! Gotta stay just above uncomfortable. But not too far above that level as you will be moving quite a bit as you are cleaning so that’ll help you stay warm

They don’t come to our thread

IBS pops up in here and I guarantee I’ll never hear the end of it. I’ll make a video for you if you sign some paperwork stating you will not share or speak of it

Did you see on Hydrochem @GeorgeNicholson, that they have the 2 step gun and 4 Kits for $2795 , shipping included. I know you’ve been drooling over it, be a nice self givin xmas present to yourself.

I haven’t seen that. Going to website now

What does 4 kits mean though? Has to be 1 acid / 1 soap = 1 kit. Otherwise I don’t see the deal.

2 step gun $2k
Each acid/soap - $120 each

I’m quiet sure. But I’m also pretty sure ya can’t get 4 m37 and HCS 400 kits. Our normal kits I’m assuming, like a SS and Dyna clean kit.
That HCS 400 is the bomb. I’ve paid way more for degreaser than their charging. I’ll never buy anything else.

my next purchase will include the HSC400 55 gallon drum kit. It would take me forever to use it but at that price there is no reason to spend $50 for a 5 gallon pail
