Truck washing (Soaps, Tips and Tricks)

So if I understand correctly you’re not applying your soap with heat? That’s going to negatively impact your cleaning ability for sure. Wait and are you also wetting the surface with just water before applying soap? That’s going to dilute your soap.

They gotta water softner for $183 with test strips. I highly recommend that. Did wonders for me

I’ll try DS it next weekend and see if the results are any better. I’m talking with local pickup of DI water as well and maybe a DI system for the trailer.

Went and bid on a local nursery this morning. They accepted my bid before noon.

A moving company has 10 straight trucks they are looking to get done as well that I should be able to win. Should know by tomorrow.

Did another bid on Feerellgas that looks promising as well.

Still have a couple more bids to throw out today. Was a pretty productive day so far.

What would you like to try?

Different soaps. Wanna figure out what works best for me

Want to try Panel Bright as a one step in between 2 stepping weeks. Have my local vendors here that I will be testing their soaps as well. Good thing with them is that they will give me a quart of their first step and gallon of the second step so I can see how it works before dropping 80 on a 5 gallon or more on a 55 gallon drum.

And the chase for economic and productive soaps and elixirs begins. Lol. been there. Good luck

I’d rather not chase but there are so many different options on what’s good

I get ya. I gotta guy in Louisiana that makes his own. I get my Ph,HF,Citric and caustic brown soap. All my High end soaps and degreaser’s ,I get from Hydro Chem.

Betcha they don’t know each other @GeorgeNicholson . Lol. You’ll figure it out dude. Different strokes, for different folks

Haha

I’ve been chatting with Chad at Hydrochem, most L Kelly going that way. Just trying to get more accounts to justify the shipping costs. Trying to see if me driving there would be more cost effective to pick up the soaps

Don’t you live in Nebraska @GeorgeNicholson ?

I do live in Omaha, Nebraska

Just listen to the advice given…Hydro Chem is top notch…great customer service and Chad is A+.

I live local to them (30 minutes) and was in there last week picking up some Power solve (house wash soap) it’s aggressive but like to use on apartments.

What are you wanting to try?

What do mean by aggressive? More hang time?

SH stable…but it makes it HOT…and seems to clean quick, but have had issues with it leaving the dried blotches from dirt coming through the drainage holes on the bottom the siding…way more then eliminator

Apartments and raining all week at 45 degrees I’ll use it…August when it’s 85 probably not lol

I’d compare it more to EBC then eliminator

I’m not poking fun or anything, please know that. But you do realize that a $115, 6 gallon bucket of liquid ,makes 55 gallons of very strong soap, acid or degreaser. I like it way better than mixing my own powder. Use warm water from your PW

and done. FYI !! do not use warm or hot water to mix you’re degreaser’s. Or a soft metal mixer

What I was saying was that it’s steep to pay $150 to receive 2 5 gallon pails just to try the product.
