Where can I get this? Or more info

It has been about 2 weeks! Itā€™s also a generator not a PW.

Well, itā€™s begin. Letā€™s see how long it takes to clean 40 +pieces tonight

Good luck

4 hours later and we still out here. So far we have cleaned 13 of this box delivery vans and 11 straight trucks. This was with a 30 minute break to eat some Hardeeā€™s and to have some good ole father son bonding.

Still have 2 straight trucks and 3 box delivery vans to do. We are going to do the sprinter vans Thursday. There is damn near 20 of them. They keep adding pieces, not complaining (but complaining, hahaha)

We are home! Left the house at 5:30 and arrived all packed up and truck cleaned out at midnight. Not sure if that is on par with what we do normally for our trucks because I am too lazy to do math right now. Maybe tomorrow Iā€™ll do the math. Been a busy 2 days. 26 straight trucks and 16 box vans. Took up 20 gallons of our #2 soap, still had to do some brushing. Gotta figure this ā– ā– ā– ā–  out! We tried some vans but it wasnā€™t breaking the film at all, thatā€™s why we decided to do them Thursday (we would have been out there till 3am)

Did the math, 6 hours for 29 pieces took us 12.5 minutes per piece. Not bad since we did take some breaks and had to move around a little once our water started to get low.

Itā€™s a roots blower. They are about $1,700 new but you can get them a lot cheaper on eBay. I sold all mine off. I had about 7 at one time but no need for them now. I used the Dresser 36 blowers with 16hp Vanguardā€™s they ran about 330 cfm with 15" Hg

I donā€™t know anything about fleet washing but that seems like a great time and especially being new at this. Youā€™re doing so good it looks like you can throw the number below in the garbage! Nice work!

We finally got an exact number on our #2 soap. We use .47 gallons of soap per truck/box van. So we should be able to clean between 110-120 pieces with our 55 gallon drum of soap. So we are running ght around $1 of our #2 soap to clean a truck. Our #1 soap is still hard to figure out since we are still on our first 55 gallon drum. But at this pace I would guess we are at around $.50-$.75 per truck on that.

@Hotshot, could this be the reason I am not breaking the film with these soaps? Not using enough of my #1? I still have around 10 gallons or so left of it and I have gone thru 75 gallons of my #2. I am going to call Chad tomorrow to discuss this with him as well. I am at 20:1 on my #1 and 25:1 on my #2. I get everything clean for the most part but on these sprinter vans I cannot break the film and had to do some brushing on my straight trucks and box vans, which I donā€™t mind on occasion.

:joy:

I donā€™t see me working for anyone ever again. I am really enjoying the steep learning curve with fleet washing. And I love being outside away from people, probably the 21 years in the Army made me this way. The one thing thatā€™s gonna suck is when my son goes off to school, we have had some great bonding time with this. Been nice since all the time I missed being deployed and now he is becoming a young man I get to help him with that journey. Heā€™ll be a senior this year and he is going to UNO to become a commercial pilot (his dream since he was 5 years old).

Donā€™t worry about the brushing aspect just wait until you see how long the film stays off now that they are really being cleaned. They are new to you, thatā€™s why the need a quick brush. If you hate brushing you need a lighter extension pole and lighter block brush. I could brush all day if I wasnā€™t running a gun.

Also it depends on what Iā€™m cleaning but Iā€™m at about 3/4 of a gallon per piece upstreaming my single step soap.

Our brush is light. Iā€™m just lazyā€¦haha

Fleet work and laziness do not go well together. Me thinks youā€™re exaggerating. Man Iā€™m tired, I struggled spelling that lol. The work never ends. Youā€™re done then theyā€™re due again. What was 25 units is now 34. He wants a day off so you pick up the slack. Trucks get wrecked so you build more. Heā€™s fired if he trashes another hose in two nights. I could go on and on lol FML
