Trailer build ASAP

There’s a way to do it and a way not to do it. Proper check valves, 1/2" hoses if you go 10 gpm or higher, etc. I will have to track down the video where the guy broke it all down. There’s 20 videos of some guy just jumping 3.5 gallon machines together willy nilly in his yard, but the one I’m talking about the guy definitely stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before he recorded. Lol or at least he sounded confident in knowing what the heck he was talking about.

I run two machines together all the time. No issues.

lol…That sounds exactly like something a buddy would do…seriously.

Your welds look good. Your tied in on both sides and looks like good penetration. I know guys who have been welding for years, have to take a weld test every 6 months that they pass, still lay down dog turds, and have nothing on your welds above. QC okays their welds on the job. They always say it doesn’t have to look good as long as it’s tied in, no porosity, and no undercut. It does have to look decent though. Personally I can’t leave a weld if it doesn’t look like I think it should. I’d lose sleep over it…lol

I think your welding is coming along great. After you sell Squids you can roll right over to a mobile welding rig.

This brought the happiest tears to my eyes. :joy:

Thanks man.

Today is the first day we don’t have rain in about a week. Mid 50’s today and tomorrow and 60% chance of snow on Sunday. Go figure. Today and tomorrow are going to be long days since I’m just now able to get the Rust converter on. After the second coat I’ve got a machine and some reels to mount.

@SchertzServicesLLC I wasn’t kidding when I said I don’t wash my own stuff. I used this sidewalk to troubleshoot a surface cleaner problem and purposely didn’t finish it in case I need to do it again. If my neighbors put up a house for sale then I will clean up… but begrudgingly.

It’s been a little while since I posted pics but here’s the last I took. I wanted to get the dust and tools up, but my ol’ man has had the F250 to do the brakes and today’s the first nice day to day them. Long story short, it’s got the proper hitch on it and I need it to move this monster away from the garage to clean it up.

And we had to Indian leg wrestle electricians today for space to wash. The electricians won.

The only thing missing in these pics as far as where it’s at is the plumbing. The plumbing is all finished minus 1 three inch bulk head install and waiting on two float valves, but I want to dedicate another thread to that so you guys can give me some of your thoughts on how to improve it before I glue it up.

Space to access injectors and reel plumbing.

Don’t forget heat shield for exhaust, leave a half in space between metal and trailer wall and you will be fine. Looks nice.

Thanks Will. The exhaust is probably 16” away from the wall. You think I should still put some sheet metal up?

oh, you’re good. In the pics it looks like it is touching the walls. You’re work is better than your photography

I don’t know how fare away you are, but it’s been well worth my 9 hour trip

Google says 1658 miles.

Thanks man. I placed that final order with Dultmeier. They’ve been known to get me stuff in less than 24 hours so here’s hoping.

I seriously wouldn’t mind building a couple trailers a year. Over winters most likely. It was a lot of fun. It’s just punch list stuff and hoses to wrap up now.

Some people buy themselves a Harley, or a bass boat, etc… I’ve bought myself a new washing rig and I couldn’t be more excited!

Rig will make you 2 or 3 harleys in no time

Looking great however I would like to see the entire block supported with plate steel between the block and the square tube rather than just supported by the square tube alone on two of the sides. Can you find true rubber isolation mounts? It looks just like a bolt thru rubber grommet that would just transfer vibration that your trying to isolate. I dig the knight rider PW theme doh even though I’m not into Honda twins
