My dang Macbook Pro is 10 years old and i cant figure out how to upgrade it… cant get on email, some websites dont work, etc. I open it every few months to do something and it works fine with documents and what not (viewing trail camera pics).
I cant for the life of me figure out how, or if, i can upgrade the software or whatever ya call it. Im gonna try and get with a IT guy i know and see what he says. I havent had anyyyy issues from laptop, but wife has been requesting a new computer due to baby and all the 1000’s of pictures she takes.
But i have ipad, iphone, and love the i computer… what computers do yall use?
I dont want to buy a new computer, cause i dont use em much, but it cud be a write off to start the year.
I use a dell at the college and it’s slow as molasses. I have a couple asus laptops that still run “good” after 7 years. But I do everything from my ipad
I haven’t owned a computer in years .
Just an iPhone. I have an app for invoice and estimate
An app that allows me to fill in and sign documents
And even an app I can fax paperwork from for companies still in the Stone Age .
I don’t even own a printer. My entire office is my phone
You can build your own.
Water cooled means you use radiators in a closed loop.
No noise and keeps your cpu cooler.
If you want you can also have a water cooled GPU.
Typical Apple, once a machine reaches a certain age it’s pretty much obsolete. My friend kept his iPhone 5s until last week and finally had enough of not being able to download the latest IOS or current apps.
Hate to say it but you’ll want to get a new(er) one.
Sheesh, for just that, go to Best Buy or Sams and get pretty much cheapest one they have. Anything will do that. Probably find one this time of year for $300.
According to my daughter (19) chrome books are completely cloud based, so no wifi means no nothing. No internal storage and no cdrom. I may be wrong, or she may have just “wanted “ the MacBook Pro. Lmao!
I bought the new iPad Pro last month and as soon as she heard she NEEDED a new MacBook…
Yes, most have at least some local storage. Typically not real powerful machines but good for basic use. I handed my MBP off to my daughter who is studying IT and programming.
