Soft wash System For Around 1K For Small Car

By the time I built one and shipped it, at $1000 its not worth it. Plus, all the time I have in it, no way is just give it away for that price. Most people are best just sticking with the traditional way of cleaning.

Nah I meant give me the list so I could build it. But I get if you don’t have time for that

See I need the mini version of this I can start out with from a car

Lol. Yes like that. Glad it worked out for you. Not everybody has common sense and a work ethic unfortunately

I’m perplexed as to why you think someone would just give you what they spent much time, money and effort on. Especially to someone that doesn’t appear to want to be a legitimate contractor.

If you didn’t have those pesky seats in the way, you could free up some space for equipment.

Do you have a problem with me personally just because this is a side business and not a full time contractor? Washing houses is a great business, but no way I’m leaving I’m 6 figure engineering job for it. I love washing and I’m good at it, but don’t get me wrong, I did the math many times and no way I can do it full time.

Absolutely not. You’re a tinkerer and that’s admirable. And, you’ve never claimed to be a full time guy or wanted to be. My point has always been, of your going to do this for a living, do it for a living. Don’t Micky Mouse around with sub equipment. I tinker with steel and own lots of welders and stuff, but nothing you’d find in a welding shop because I don’t do it for a living.

I’ve read years of posts on here and love this industry. In another life, I’d do it the traditional way and I already have in my mind what I’m buying equipment wise. If the math added up, I’d quit my job and wash houses full time. I love doing it, I’m good at it, and I stay very busy because word of mouth.

Can you stop being negative? I literally said I understand if you don’t have the time to do that. It seems like every post I make or someone giving me advice you have to come in with a condescending remark. It’s not really needed you already made your position clear in the beginning of this thread when you made your first remark. I thank you and moved on but other people are giving me some really helpful tips/contributions

did you perhaps misread that “legitimate contractor” comment as referring to you?

I hope he didn’t.

You came on a free forum and asked for free advice. What you perceive as negativity I see as sound advice. You don’t have to listen to it, but that won’t stop me from giving it. It’s s your money to lose, not mine.

Is fantastic that people come ask for advice, free, and then when they get the advice and is not something they like, argue or still try to make their point more valid.
I spent years around old folks learning and give them my help and time. Most successful people are paying for a coach’s advice big money and most times the advice given is not something they want to hear.
And they pay for it.

This is my free advice to you
LLC, insurance,
Ger the right ingredients to wash houses ( chemicals, soap)
Rent a truck and a power washer trailer and see if you like it.
If you don’t like it , is ok.
You are free to do what you like and be successful and come back and share with us your succes story.
All the best

Nice try that’s not what happened I have heard plenty that I didn’t want to hear including don’t do it, to saturated, wait and save up, get a part time job

Great

BUT no one has been as condescending as this dude. So no not the same situation your painting at al

Your patronizing condescending isn’t needed though. And what’s funny is you know exactly what I’m talking about because others on this forum have given advice as well that is in the same spirit as yours. Namely slow down but nobody has been as patronizing. You just don’t care

Hey I decided to go with your method and focus on downstreaming small residential homes in the Orlando area. found the materials that you mentioned but just had a few questions if you have the time

I ordered the gun from here shorturl.at/bgtwy
Jrod from here shorturl.at/xGHZ5
ON demand pump from here shorturl.at/MRYZ1
Accumulator tank shorturl.at/nwyKZ

My question is regarding the pressure switch, pumps, and accumulator tanks. I found a pump and the accumulator tank but having trouble nailing down the right switch.

Through the links that I linked do those options looks good and what switch would work for those? Every time I search “Pressure washer pressure switch” I get a variety of results and I’m not sure to go with.

My final question is regarding your #50 nozzle. Are you saying I need a 50 inch nozzle for the house or for the blue mule gun? Sorry if a dumb question.

Thanks!

easy there, don’t give yourself an aneurysm. I was pointing out that I’m pretty certain @Innocentbystander was not even referring to you with his “legitimate contractor” comment…

This about sums it up. You only get one chance to make a good first impression. But, on the other hand, I had smoked ribs for supper

No, and no. Like a said before, don’t try to do what I do. You can buy the gun to downstream, but don’t try to build a booster system on your own
