Soft wash System For Around 1K For Small Car

What is it so I can look into building it. I plan to only do soft washing that’s exactly the plan. What does it look like that rig is mad of?

Ok so for that set up I need the:

Blue Mule Spray

A 50" nozzle

12v booster system that can connect to spigots and boost pressure

A spigot that will attach to the pump and the clients house

The cart I’m confused about unless your talking about a wire mesh carry on trailer that I would attach to my car.

The pressure switch which just controls the flow of chemicals

Is that about right? And following this to a tee does help with the lack of a small truck right?

You seem eager to learn and that’s good because you have much to learn. Elemonator is a surfactant that is commonly used for house washing. It’s just soap. I suggest you slow down and learn before you do anything or buy anything.

YES and I"m aware I’m not even close to knowing a lot. That’s why I’m trying to build a rig beforehand. Something that will bring in income irregardless of the time or money that I will have to spend when I first start out.

So this route is me actually getting a pressure washing machine and just modifying it or down streaming it when it comes to softwashing?

Because what I play and want to do is mainly soft washing then moving on to roofs.

When you said you just downstreamed and it worked what were you using? What2.3 GMP machine? I noticed that the eagle wash was for the ground I’m just trying to softwash the house then move on to roofs. If that’s the case I wouldn’t need the eagles wash just starting off correct?

So I linked the correct verion but spelled it wrong you’re saying? Or that I have the wrong product as well

Damn my fault…I’m lost on what you’re trying to say. Is the link that I linked the wrong 50?

Got you I’m probably just being done

Any thoughts on this brand? It looks smaller enough to get in my car. Just gotta figure out the hose situation if something like this still need it

If i study high, take the test high, i should get high scores!

??? Meaning

Meaning digest the information being presented to you. The questions you’re asking show how little you know. And i get you say you don’t know anything but you actually think you do for some reason. Slow down. Rent equipment. You need experience to answer the questions you have

I don’t think I know anything. When someone says something and I heard from other sources different I point it out so I can be corrected. Or if I don’t know something I ask as well it’s just how I Iearn. Not trying to offend but just from me asking questions doesn’t mean I’m acting like I know.

Just like I didn’t take their word verbatim without running it by people more experienced then me I do the same with the info that I get here

Basics, because you seem to be bouncing around.

Water pressure doesn’t “clean” anything it just moves stuff around,

sodium hypochlorite (SH) aka Bleach, store names of clorox and wal mart’s pool essentials, kill or control most types of viruses, bacteria, molds, mildews, and algae. It doesn’t remove paint, rust, or the 100 other things most people try to use it on like it is a miracle liquid. Most members here buy industrial SH in drums that come in a strength of 12.5 per the label. In reality, fresh drums are more likely 15-17.5%. Pool essentials is 10%. Most everyone on here downstreams SH using an injector that when matched with your rigs machine, should put anywhere from .8-1.2% net on the object. SPecial note: do not use pure strength or half strength bleach on most things, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS test in an inconspicuous area.

Soap (surfactant) also called surface-active agent, substance such as a detergent that, when added to a liquid, reduces its surface tension, thereby increasing its spreading and wetting properties . However, you cannot use just any soap, you must use a bleach stable soap. Why? Well, you have to understand how sodium hypochlorite degrades, and you must understand minor issues related to chemistry.

Pressure from a pressure washer is controlled by nozzle selection, not a ball valve or adjusting the unloader.

Rule #1, El numero uno, the king of all king rules, never mix sodium hypochlorite and acid.
Rule #2 When starting up your rig and going on the trigger, point it away from anything you don’t want to damage.
Rule#3 Anyone can do this work, and some people book jobs and take on clients and ruin their houses. Don’t trust reddit, it is a dumpster fire of dead meth hobos that got run over by a fish cannery garbage truck.

You should build one for the OP and sell it to him for $1000.

Practically speaking, your setup is the most realistic solution for his limiting situation.

Yeah his solution seems to be a sure bet if I could figure out the terminology and get it replicated. Or if he built one I would buy it. Or Id even be willing to buy the parts list with exact links to what I should get and instructions. Id buy that as well

Ok that helped that was like a vocab list that I can go by when talking in the future.

So pool essentials is 10% bleach. GOT IT. Figuring out the ratios and diluting it is what people are talking about when they say they need a “hotter” mix. They’re saying the more pure bleach in the mix the hotter it is right?

I guess without a tank I’m trying to figure out how would I mix the chemicals. it would jsut be premixed?

Like me!? LOL-
Built this from scratch and tried to absorb all the good advice and some of the not so good on this forum. It’s at least paid for itself multiple times in the last 12 months. Never let the fear of being bad at something stop you from trying it

Yes a Hot mix is just more SH in the mixture, or as we say a higher percentage of SH. House vinyl is roughly 1 percent. Examples of hotter mixes are used for pre and post treating some concrete, stucco, stone walls/retaining walls, pavers, etc. Roof mixes are hotter mixes, and those mixes can vary depending on whether it is asphalt (shingles), concrete (tiles), or slate, or even metal. You won’t have room for a ladder in a car, so ignore those mix percentages for now.

So, how do you figure out how much bleach to mix? You have to test your system. Get a jug of water, add it to your injector, and see what it draws in a given period of time using a timing device. Do a bucket test to see how many gallons per minute your machine actually pushed. Get those numbers, get a better understanding of your unit, then come here and ask for the best injector for your rig.

As stated by others, you can use an xjet (this means you are basically batch mixing in a bucket and walking around with it). This will allow you to determine how much water, bleach, and soap to mix. Is this method as efficient as others, no it is not. Will it work, yes it will. Can you make money with this? yes. Are you going to compete with IBS or Racer, not likely.

The people on here taught me a lot, when I was considering doing this as a side gig. I also read alot and go to conferences and workshops. Experiment on your own home or friends/family homes, use a pump up sprayer and a garden hose to experiment with mixes and see what people are saying. This is what I did before I bought a system. You can clean a vinyl house with a pump up and a garden hose, it is that simple. It will take awhile, and you may need a ladder.
