We always do the curb, plus a little of the street. Our customers love it and its a selling point for us. They always come check to make sure we did it. One of the points is to let everyone know that they had work done on their property.
That’s a good point as far as letting everyone know the property was done. Definitely stands out. I could see how the neighbors would look and think about it longer the next few times they view it.
Not my fault if the neighbors a dirty bird. We always wash the curb as well
Is it included, or upcharge?
included.
I always wash the curbs too. It is just included in my sidewalk prices.
By the way doing the 1 ft strip in front of the curb could be your calling card.
I have always wanted a steel plate with my logo cut in it so i could lay it on the street and then clean my logo into the concrete.
Well I’m considering it with the points being made. Or at least offering it. I like the idea of the cleaning being more noticeable with the clean strips. Not the stencil, but the curb and 1ft strip
Ah come on, you’re no fun.Just think of the possibilities. I could clean my name into everything: freeway overpasses, random places on the highway. the side of a building. grave stones, or landmarks.
It looks cool, maybe at a trade show or exhibit, or power washer store. But
It’s probably a misdemeanor best case scenario. Depending on what you mark it could be a felony. Not the kind of exposure I’m looking for lol
That is called graffiti
Stencils wow thats cocky.
When i had my grass cutting business i would put my cards everywhere. I put about 3 in the little business card holder in the bank, infront of the bankers cards. She went to go hand me one of hers and looked at it really confused. Then asked me while laughing alittle if it was mine:joy: never went back to that bank. It worked because they call and say they seen my card.
Hopefully that banker doesn’t use your services or recommend you to others after that. Honesty is the best advertisement. Don’t put your cards in front of someone else’s. Don’t graffiti someone else’s property
My idea for a stencil was totally in jest. It was like two am and I was a bit loopy.
You would not believe how many contractors use stencils
Thanks for you opinion. Everyone has one but yours is the most important! Ill go back in time when i was 18 and not put that bussiness card in there.
We include it in the price. Most curbs are the flatter kind, that i can run the surface cleaner over than do one pass on the street. Generally only adds 2min to the job. The curb in the pic i posted because i cant run the surface cleaner over that one takes a little longer.
I plan on getting a stencil, and putting it on the curbs that i do for the homeowner.
Its the same thing as a yard sign. One could consider that littering up someone yard.
I like the wrap on your truck. How much did that run you? Looks pretty recent.
Exactly. No one wants to see yard signs.
