Should I buy this plumbing kit?

Go with 1 1/2 even on tank drain!! All fittings and hose will be 1 1/2 except. 2 in cam lock in case u have to change out tote. 2 in to 1 1/2 in reducer,1 1/2 in Barb to 3/4 thread for pump brass and a 1 1/2 in to 3/4 reducer if u want to be able to winterize it.

Other than that two 1 1/2 in tees . Two 1 1/2 in ball valves and some hose clamps and ur good to go!!

I tried out this t2 and on some threaded connections for a wand and gun and it leaked like crazy. Is this stuff only for plumbing applications or am I usinf it wrong. I just spread it on the male threads and tightened it.

I only use it on plumbing and anything plastic that don’t have a high psi. All high pressure metal fittings I use thread tape three wraps. On a build I will put some of that on after thread tape for a better seal .

If u don’t have a vise mounted to ur trailer already that is the first thing u want to mount!! Using the heat gun don’t get the hose to hot or all the hose will sag at the fittings!! Get some srap hose and Barb’s and get it down pat.Use detergent so it will slide on easy and wear gloves.

:joy:all my tools stay at my 9-5 lol I cut a hole for a bulkhead last night with a razor blade  I know its ridiculous and senseless but I had the time and wanted it done. Positive note, no shavings. had to thread the bulkhead through it tho.

@bulletproof can you share the link to the 3-6gpm plumbing kit? Can’t find it on their website.

@bulletproof I think I have found it.

https://shop.pressurewasherproducts.com/3-65-GPM-PRESSURE-WASHER-PLUMBING-KIT-FOR-IBC-TOTE-SQUARE-TANK-PL-4-TO.htm

That sites search functionality is horrible. But I think you got it if your buffer is a tote. They have tote kits and tank kits. I ended up buying the items separately and from multiple places.

Yes it was not easy to find it. I picked up some 30 gallon tanks for free and was going to go the route on converting the drum for a buffer tank to not kill the pump.

Did another job today and would defniely like to have the buffer tank when swapping from ball valve and SC and all that. The back patio was no joke.

Wow looks good man, good job !

Did you not do the curb?

Thanks @anon82972966 @Grizz I asked the owners if they wanted me to do the curb and they said the HOA has a rule against it. Maybe the HOA Doesn’t want once house looking great and the next door neighbor looking like crap.

Funny thing is… old lady stopped by my trailer and said she was with the HOA and I tightened up a little bit. Then she asked if I could do her house and anyone else if they were interested LOL!

I never do curbing unless requested and charge more. 99% of the properties I do are in neighborhoods with homes like < 10’ away. It’s my opinion that if you do the curb it looks bad unless your neighbors curb is clean as well. I find it’s a good stopping point to bring the properties together, yes with dirty curbs. Almost all the customers agree.

That’s what you call great timing

I’m sure everyone can agree the best advertising is cleaning within screaming distance of the people driving by’s house. They always slow down and I’m not sure if they are going to try to steal my equipment or looking for my trailer signage.

Hasn’t happened yet, but every time I work in a busy neighborhood it crosses my mind !!

Ya ive seen some posts on here about HOA not wanting anything done to the curbs. You did a good job not making it look sloppy by overlapping on the curb.

But wouldnt that be a good way to sell the neighbors on your services😂 id tell the client if they could get me one of their neighbors to let me wash id give them both a discount since i wouldnt have to travel. When the neighbor see how clean it is and how dirty theirs is it be hard to pass up on

It is. If you get the opportunity to speak to them. If not they’ll get your 5 around flyer(if you have the discipline to actually fill them out and pass out). I’m thinking about sendjim just because I don’t. I’d say I do my 5 arounds about 50/50. I’m missing out. I should start filling them out the night before like @squidskc does and recommends.

There was actually someone around here that had a stencil they would use to “brand” neighbors concrete. Needless to say they were not happy about it. I actually gained a few customers bc of their stupidity. I was called and asked if I stencil Driveways? Because if I do, they don’t want to do business with me. One of the neighborhoods they did this in was one of those multi million dollar house type of neighborhoods. I’ve seen people on fb groups saying stenciling was a good idea. I just can’t see it in any fashion.
