SH price increased

Same here in KY, I think it’s $220 delivered.

I’m 185.00 for drum…

Do you pick it up yourself or delivery?

I drop by the shop, 5 minutes from my house. Can get delivered though….

Last spring I bought a bag of citric acid, 50 pounds for $50. Last fall I went to buy another one and they said that they’ve been waiting for several months to get more. I called this spring and they said that they had one. I was surprised I was able to find one but I think it’s because it went up to $200 and people aren’t buying it anymore lol.

What are you doing with all that Citric? I just checked, my supplier is about $160 for 50lb but it’s 99.9% food grade quality.

We restored a cedar wood siding home.

Nice work, post your process or move this over to the wood cleaning thread and post process. Could you not talk them into putting some stain on it, even something like a natural cedar stain would blend it all together.

$3.55 a gal now, and they are starting to see issues and inventory is getting tight. This is the manufacturer of the chemical and not a distributor. .30 a gallon isn’t a significant increase, I am more concerned about maybe not getting my next order.

Yep, don’t wait until the last minute for sure. Just got a 15% increase letter today, but more concerning is making sure I get my order in when I need to. I usually have a couple of weeks window to play with, but when they have already been lagging about a week later than promised most of this year, that limits my margin for error too.

Yep, got a 19% increase last week to 3.45/gal and supplier ate some of the increase.

I will move it over soon. Running hard this week. They may be staining it themselves, I don’t offer that service, yet anyway.

One of the nice things about living in a place where there is a pool in 20% of peoples backyards is that SH prices are much more reasonable🤑. I feel for you guys having to shell out all that dough. $6 75 for 2.5 gal = $2.70 gal

Yeah, prices are increasing, but honestly not that big of a deal considering it is only adding a few dollars to the cost of each service we do. For typical house wash we are using what 3-5 gallons for a $300-$500 job? Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Ive been to a lowes and ace hardware this morning. 81 oz clorox outdoors were $8 and $10. That would add up quickly

Just got notice from my chem supplier yesterday, up to $3.80 a gal as of 12/22. He said expect it to go up again.

I’m not buying until spring, can’t wait to see the price then.

You’ve got to be able to find a wholesale/dealer option in southwest florida right? OF course it’s expensive at the box store, but even still that’s not breaking the bank unless your charging $99 for a house wash.
