SH price increased

True. I guess I’ll just hide and watch and see what shakes out.

That what I’m saying, if you hear a rumble close the door on the bunker. :grinning:

What’d you say?

Bought my first round of bleach for the year and my price per gallon increased by $1.11

Yes we already have, we pre bought chems for the year for our weekly,bi weekly contract customers, All others will definitely see an increase. We can deal with the fuel pricing for a while, Its the chemicals that have to be passed along.

We simply say, “we reassess our prices every year and adjust to the cost of doing business”, and no one has complained.

Same, but I try to do it quarterly (probably happens spring and fall in reality though)

I’m paying $4.38 delivered to me in northern IL.

I went to Menards 3-4 months ago and they had the typical generic 8.25% 121oz bleach on sale for $2.79. I bought all of it. I’m now out.
Went back yesterday, and I kid you not, the same exact bleach I knew would be more and it was at $3.53.
BUT it no longer was in a 121oz container it was now 81oz!!! and diluted to 7.5% .

If you have a Menards, why in the world are you buying 8.25% bleach there? They carry pool shock for $3.99 and it’s 12.5%. This time of year they usually have 1000+ gallons in stock everyday

I’ve paid $119 a drum for the last 6 or 7 years until this year

I don’t pay for delivery, but that’s still sucks

Still paying approximately 5.50 a gallon for 7.5% and don’t see an end in sight! :joy:

We pay $4.25 p/g for 12.5% from the pool store down the street. Hasn’t changed in the last year since we started buying from them. Once we increase our order per month, they’ll drop the price a little bit more.

We used to drive 1.5hrs one way to get it “cheaper” from our supplier, but when you factor in gas and stopping to eat because of the kids, it’s cheaper to drive 5mins down the street.

This is not making me excited to hear what my next load will cost…they haven’t sent me an increase yet, but the last order got delayed days because of “supplier issues”.

the plant I go to has not had any inventory issues, but they are getting other supply issues. I got a drum recently with no interim price change, but the rep says to expect it on next order.

Friday afternoon I went by my supplier to pick up a 15-gal drum and was greeted by these signs…

That’s not terrible. I pay close to that on the drums buying 2-3 at a time.
