I was just showing how much it could be if somebody didnt have any other options. Ouch! I get mine from a pool supply store for 2.70 gal. I could probably get it for less but ive been doing business with these people for 20 years for my pool and it seemed logical to expand that relationship once i began washing

Gotcha! Makes sense!

I appreciate the offer, but I think we should be good until spring!

Can you imagine what would have happened if the railroad workers striked? They said most of the liquid chlorine is transported by rail.

I’m already at 67$ for a 5 gallon bucket. :grimacing:

Similar price in NZ. Get a small discount when ordering in higher quantities

$3.25/gal up from $2.77 - last increase was in July so I expect another increase going into the new year.

I just hit $4.00 this week via email from Univar. Maybe I don’t use enough to get it cheaper.

Mar 22 - $3.25
Jun 23 - $4.00

i pay 119 for a 15 gal carboy plus 50 dollar deposit for barrel

With the price increases I’ve seen for SH, I am soooooo thankful that I am running the PW Gadgets injectors on my machines. The stronger draw gas allowed me to clean stuff with the first pass instead of having to soap gutters two or three times AND STILL brush them. Now that I’m rocking the new injectors, I only brush the absolute worst gutters. @dperez you, sir, are a life saver. Go ahead and put me down for one of the high draw injectors when you release them.

do you downstream straight 12.5 or a 50-50 mix with water?

It depends. On my 8.5 I DS straight 12.5 with excellent results. On my 5.5 I have started tinkering with the proportioning tips that come with the injector kit. I’d run out there and tell you what color but I’m currently in Spain so I’ll get that when I get back in about 10 days.

I know that wide open with 7.5% it still cleans houses with my 8gpm. Have fun in Spain!

Yes, I had to grab some 10% gallon jugs in a pinch and it worked great even on the 8. We’ve had a blast! Been here about a week and we leave for London tomorrow. We’ll be there a week or so then back to the States. Already planning another trip for next year.

Just back from a trip out of state to the machine shop. Spent half the day in a design meeting and the high draw was discussed. Still looking at viable tooling options for it. It’s sure tricky to do right! I did get to run a few parts myself :smirk:
