In your personal opinions. My company name is “Space Clean Services LLC” aka Space Clean. Soon I will be getting custom vinyl on my van and I will have the hot water heater installed on trailer also. Do the public like more to hear power washing or pressure washing? I know on google pressure washing takes lead on searched things. But some people I feel, out of sheer ignorance call me for power washing thinking the hot water would automatically be superior…
Anyways what do you guys think I should put on my IBC sign and van vinyl. Space clean power washing, etc or pressure washing, etc?
Pros and cons to both. I like power but I started with pressure so I get hits from both on Google. That’s the most important part of the decision in my opinion. I also have both registered with my state. The biggest company around me uses power if that matters to you. I almost didnt just for that reason but it the end I liked how power looked better on my vinyl!
@anon37135677 one simple search from one simpleton. I agree but the point being many I feel will google and read a short paragraph and think they want power washing because the hot water is better than just cold. Power Washing is more inclusive and we professionals know this. Then again do I go around mis pronouncing things obviously incorrectly to fit into public; yes. For example when I speak Spanish as my second language I will say “gew-glay” and not “google” or more often “wee fee” and not “wifi” . Sorry got off on a tangent there. Really though what do you call your business when someone asks you. Pressure washing or power washing?
Most people have no idea there’s a difference between power washing or pressure washing. They think power washing is pressure washing and pressure washing is power washing. They won’t google because they think it means the same thing. It just depends on the person. It seems like I get older people saying power washing and younger saying pressure washing. Either or should get you pulled up on a Google search.
People won’t care what you use as long as you can clean their house and driveway.
Why did you ultimately chose pressure washing over power washing? It’s gotten so interesting these forums every night. Meeting the different people and seeing their journeys along power washing. Some are cool i suppose others not so much, like anywhere. But we all have one thing in common, power washing!
@marinegrunt yeah it’s been more senior citizens asking about power washing in specific; could not agree more that they all just want it clean. But these details are so crucial starting up for the rest of, for the least, the vinyls lifetime.

It depends on what’s used more often in your area. Around here nobody says power washing so I would be crazy to use it. Even when not pressure washing people say pressure washing because that’s what they grew up saying. It could be different in your area. There is a way to find search ranking for each key word. I’m not sure how.
