Need some help. 11 hp honda

Oh hell yes I wish we had drill rigs in va that kinda work like watching the most satisfying videos on YouTube all day

It wasnā€™t fun washing it @Firefighter4hire ,that I can tell ya,we were covered from head to toe, wife made me strip before she let me in the house. But it pays well ,and they consistently break stuff so much that I got a 4x4 truck and rig dedicated to all 5 local quarries. When life give ya lemons I gatherā€¦

I know itā€™s crazy but I would put on my splash suit and go to town. I dont have a clue how to wash that type of rig but if itā€™s high pressure turbo nozzle kinda washing Iā€™m your man. The dirtier the better

So your the only crazy dude on here other than me that does night work on a regular basis @dperez . This is gonna be my first full time fall and winter season doing this. So summer was pretty easy due to it being light till 9pm. But its gonna be getting dark around here at 5 rather quickly. I took your advice on the led head lamps,Awesome BTW. What advice do you have for 12v leds on rig full time?

And long guns

Iā€™d go with a 110v outdoor led floodlight. Let me look

Nice !! I was wondering on running 12v off the trailer 7 pin with pickup truck running all night or just use my genie to run a big boy light. Not wondering any more ā€¦thanks @dperez

I couldnā€™t find the exact ones Iā€™ve used but they are very similar to these. They are not power hungry like the big halogens.

300W LED Flood Light, IP65 Waterproof, 110V, 24000LM, 2800-3000K Daylight White, Super Bright Outdoor Security Lights, Work Light, Floodlight Landscape Wall Lights (Warm White) Amazon.com

Man I wish I could work at night. This heat is wrecking me.

Yeah your Jenny would be more than up for it. I run 1/4hp cap start fan motors and still get about 123 volts on my 2kw generator so Iā€™m only loading it up with about quarter of a load

It has its cons. But once you get used to the time and make the guys really pay attention safety wise, its pretty awesome to be honest.

Booked marked !

Then youā€™ll be complaining about working in 34 degree weather

That part stinks. Iā€™m really considering on getting an 18ā€™ enclosed trailer for winter. I know they got to be harder to work out of and work on machines, plumbing etc. But it be nice to not worry about things freezing and running antifreeze through everything day in day out

Same here, Iā€™m slowly making the move to dry van boxes. I never minded so much winterizing as it would only take a few minutes itā€™s the covering of equipment I do mind. One time I was so tired after a job and it started to freeze I just left it running all the way home then when I got home I just left it running while I slept. Wife woke me up and asked if I knew I left a machine running lol sometimes you ainā€™t got no time for dat

You might as well spend the money for a Tommy lift while your at it ,Mr 40 something, those dry boxes are high and steps suck.

No way those lift gates are heavy as hell. I cut them off with the quickness. Besides Iā€™m only standing on the beds for service once every month or so. Iā€™ll just put me a slide out ladder in the back.

Note the older ppl ramp.

I couldnā€™t get past the waviness on those aluminum sheets

Hey question, on old aluminum panels with oxidized failing paint you know where you could just wash and brush it all off if you wanted to. Could you aluminum polish that turd?
