Need some help. 11 hp honda

Yep just about 100% of these “assemblers” spec everything out to run flat out to squeeze everything they can out of it so they can bloat the specs even then they don’t even meet the specs they slap on it. When you don’t leave anything left in the governor you most definitely will be riding it hard and hanging it up wet. I run my 18hp at 2,550 rpm

Gawley,you writing a book @dperez ? Lol

I’m a slow typer that’s why you really see me chit chat on here lol

I turned my new 18hp 5.5 down to 2700 psi. No need for 3000 psi or more when your above 4gpm washing trucks…

Lol me to dude. Slow and steady bubby…

Nice, now she’s on a stroll and not a sprint. Check out Wally World 5w30 Supertech synthetic for it. I’ve been running it for about 4 years and it’s a performer

I’m getting my prts in order to try my hand at upstreaming on my quarry washing machine. It’s a hotsy 5gpm. Am I understanding this right that I have to recirculate from my unloader back to my pump like it was originally when I bought it @dperez ?

Yes sir. You’ll need to restrict the hose a bit as it comes into the pump so the pump chooses the bypass over the soap. My weep only works with flow actuated unloaders.

Are you weeping to let a lil more water in to keep pump cool when off trigger ? And if so would an extra long bypass hose from unloader to pump be beneficial to allow more volume of water to recirculate?

Yes, you can set the max temp you ever want hitting your seals. My inlet water temperature stays somewhere around 100 when it max’s out. The more water you drip the cooler you stay.

A longer hose wouldn’t help much. Mine are 18"

Understood, Thanks @dperez, you da man.

You basically to him all he needed to know, so I just thought I’d catch you at the right moment to pic your brain a lil. So the thread was dead anyways. Lol

No problem just message me with pics and parts and I’ll do my best to get you going. They can be kind of tricky to get going so we’ll figure yours out together.

Nah, I’m just gonna roll into the lonestar state all Arkie style with my junk and take y’all out to a proper meal and wine and dine you and yours. And get that noggin of yours open and get some knowledge @dperez .

Why do you need more psi? Are you already doing that kind of washing? You really are going to push motor. Dont get me wrong run that thing till it breaks but why invest the money in upgrading just the pump then you are going to wear out motor then what? If you really have the work buy a hot water machine and get to work it will pay for itself. Now if you want to make it shiny listen to @Hotshot @dperez. If you want to clean tractors and backhoes that kinda thing I help.
