Yeah. You can polish any aluminum. It just needs to be sanded smooth to 320 grit or more or it will look like crap. I usually start with 320 but will go up in grit to 1000 for a mirror show room shine if the customer has deep pockets…
Always acid aluminum before you do any polishing. It makes it way easier because its clean and free of all debris and old oxidation and strips all the old polish if any
Thanks man, I definitely was going to see what HF was going to do to it. I may even leave it alone after that. I do know I don’t want to respray it. I didn’t know it should be sanded to prep it.
It might be smooth enough for polish, just do a test spot and see. If you can’t get the polish out because it’s to course, you’ll know right away. It will be black and streaky looking. You can also get PH acid to acidize your aluminum,it will leave you with a much more satin glossier finish. HF tends to leave aluminum more gray.

I’m totally going to upstream some 2 liter Coca-Colas for scientific purposes maybe there’s enough phosphoric acid in it to do absolutely nothing
You can buy a bag of oranges and lemons and smear them all over to get the citric acid wash affect, for your scientific book report to.
Keep it up and you might be taken to the dark side of a 2 step gun and never look back

That 5.5 will work. But you’ll get around 2500 psi or a lil more. A guy on here tested it on his gx360.but you’ll get a butt ton of water to rinse
