Master Blaster Truck Build

So much room for activities! What tanks are you planning on sticking in there? The build looks great, can’t wait to see the final result!

That’s awesome man, nice thread. I’m already sick of towing a trailer around these mountains, your build has me daydreaming about the future

Thanks man! It’s been fun finally building with all the knowledge I’ve gained here. Also having peers and mentors to reach out to when I’m not sure about something minor is invaluable.

One thing I was unsure of when assembling the GX390 to the gearbox was there was a little gap between the engine and the gearbox. Not large but I noticed it. After reaching out to @marinegrunt , @MuscleMyHustle, and @Firefighter4hire all 3 confirmed it was normal. Just wanted to share for anyone else assembling a gear drive for the first time.

I used the larger bolts and spacers that came with the pump. I used copper anti seize on the shaft. I had a buddy help me assemble it and I held the key way down while sliding the gearbox on the shaft. As stated in another thread you can zip tie the key to the shaft, slide the gearbox partly on then snip the zip tie and remove it. My new GX390 arrived with a zip tie on the key on the shaft.

How are you planning to use two machines? One for house washes and one for concrete?

So, one soaping, one rinsing?

That or splitting the house depending on size. Also one surface cleaning if needed.

Woof it’s a hot one this week 102° all week. Taking a break until Monday as my parents are rolling in for the weekend.
