Definitely wanted to, they want to wait until the spring.

Nice job on the stucco. Did you downstream, x-jet, or apply with roof pump?

If you order from a vendor you’ll get it right away. My vendors keep big stock of them! Same price as my site. I just can’t keep them in stock fast enough for the vendors.

Do you lose a significant amount of money when selling through the vendors? That’s the only reason I ordered from your site because I figured youd make out better… would you rather people buy them from the vendors?

This was back during early covid. Vendor told me 2 months. No worries.

Fine job my friend

So it’s a double edged blade. Yes I make less. But I don’t have to advertise, explain as much on how it works to the interested party, or have 30-40 units a month going different places. When my wholesaler orders a bunch of units I know I’m good for a few weeks to work on the other side of my business (that makes far more profits than I do off boxes). when I get a random orders between the large wholesale orders I have to allocate time to build and ship it.

I considered not selling direct to consumers but I feel like it keeps me personable. I like dealing direct with customers but it can be cumbersome. But when you start selling a ton of something it’s nice to have a middle man.

I really don’t build the boxes for the money! Yes, it’s a perk. But I just like seeing happy folks with a well built unit. This time of year I enjoy it. We’re going to pre build 500-700 units this winter for the spring rush. So when it’s not snowing or I’m not chasing whitetail I’ll be sitting in the shop listening to music building boxes lol

This summer was wild… covid, taking on 16 Walmart’s, and building Blaires businesses was rough enough. My big saving grace was being able to send guys to trusted vendors to get a box quicker than I could.

Careful posting that, if insurance sees your not tied off on a roof they may cancel your policy

As the owner you can work that way. An employee cannot.

Researching the reference material to share because I am not certain that’s how it’s worded.

I want to know who the guy was that came out of the house right after you sprayed that area of the roof. And did he get any on him?!

No the porch overhang is bigger than it looks. They stayed dry. They were also warned before hand not to walk straight out.

So the wording just states employees. The only variation is for inspections before, during, or after work. Or having a 15ft warning area. It does vary some state by state by being more restrictive.

So no tie offs needed? I’m not currently tying off but meeting with ray Burke from spray wash today to talk to him about it. He says OSHA requires tying off on any roof above 6ft
