I use this on my 24’, but on single stories I take the ladder apart and just use the section with the standoffs. Gives me an angle I’m comfortable with and it’s 30 seconds to reposition them
I like the style that @anon37135677 uses. You can put them on and take them off in seconds. They’re like these:
Ladder Stabilizer Standoff Brackets Silicone Elbows | Levelok
They’re the only reason I feel comfortable on a ladder. The ones that @Jake_Lambert just linked look pretty good too.
I use the Werner one. Only issue I’ve had is the pads falling off
Received some sodium thiosulphate pentahydrate today, plan is to make my own plant wash to spray around roof jobs and sensitive plants like Japanese maples.
What’s your recommended mix instructions to ensure safety to plants but also neutralize sodium hypochlorite? Any other chemicals you would add to the mix for a plant wash for plant safety of all types?
Well that IS the right stuff but I can’t remember how much is used to neutralize SH. It should be on google though and just an FYI, it’s also used as a laundry booster to get out iodine and blood stains
Hi Mary, always glad to see you. Hope all is well
All good here! Hope you are well
Day by day
I’ll add some to warm water and throw it into my laundry if I ever get in a bloody battle lol.
Well thank you. Glad it’s the right stuff
This might also be a good way to preserve injectors I feel if you added some to 5 gallons to rinse the injectors out. Neutralize it so it stops corroding
Injectors don’t typically corrode before they go bad. At least I’ve never had one corrode and I’ve gone thru probably a 1000 of them.
Is it usually the o-ring that goes first and causes the ball to stick?
Spring goes wonky or oring shoots out.
Had an injector go out this morning-wonky spring
Do they make a polyurethane spring? Or just a plastic spring that’s strong enough. Could 3D print one Possibly
Best ones are the ones without springs. Bob used to sell them but stopped. I have an envelope full of the inserts he hee me but they don’t work with the GP plastic barbs with screw in proportioners
I’ll have to find some without springs. Don’t want a check valve either. Don’t want to over pay for that
