Ive got to say. I didnt really think this would work but i had my local sign guy make me up one and put a ad on CL $10 sign spinner and he goes out at at 8am and leaves at 6pm. My phone started ringing off the hook today. $100 well spent. Just booked a week of work in one day.

I did the same thing after reading about Sharpe’s success. My nephew is in high school and he spins my sign after school for a few hours the last couple of days and I’ve already booked SIX JOBS from that dang sign! I can’t believe I wasn’t doing this sooner. Seriously. It’s that effective.

You guys seriously got me thinking about hiring someone to hold a sign lol.

Do y’all use just a standard 18 by 24?

Logo or like a specific service

Oh no. The bigger the better! I went with 36x48. My nephew is 6’ 4" so he can hold and twirl that thing real high up in the air to really grab folks attention!

Yes sir, that’s what I was thinking.

Where are you from? I live in East Texas

I live in Arkansas now originally from Wichita Falls area but I’ve lived all across North Texas.

Personally i wouldnt have prices on a flyer.

Anyone ever hear about Zeke. He runs AdWords for Bobby Walker and a bunch other successful guys. Seems like a straight up guy.

I agree if my guy on fivvr puts prices on mine ill have him change them to coupons.

You use big bold letters easy for people to see and put your ad right under arts and crafts or gardening section.

Why not tell him before hand. Saves time, and doesnt waste his time having to redo something you know you dont want.
When i have a designer make a flyer i give them artistic freedom on the overall design, but i give them all pic’s, coupons and wording. Most of the time i even have the color chose i already want so it stands out.

Almost certain that’s Keith at KBK. I would just use him, he does great work. It will look way more professional than a Fiverr guy I’m guessing and not have to have 5 revisions.

Ive tried that. Ive found its alot easier to work on projects with this guy in sections

  1. Layout
  2. Pictures
  3. Wording.

Where is this picture?

I’m pretty late to this thread but wanted to provide some insight on this~ It depends on the keyword competition, they could be spending $7-8 per click in order to have their ad show up in the #1 position on the Google search results page. Having lower CPCs than the competition is one of the factors that cause your ad to be shown at the bottom of the page (where the quality of clicks is a lot worse). Sometimes, even with low budgets your CPCs need to be set high in order to get the best results.

What were you doing in Google ads? That is surprising to hear that you spent a couple thousand and didn’t have the best results. I work with some power washers that spend around $500-1,000 per month and are making 5-10 times that monthly not including referral business.

Many of us have been burned, I got ripped by a couple companies starting out with SEO work… Straight thief’s, then google ad managment… Hard to trust anyone anymore… I know I speak for my self and many on here
