There is a big difference between takers and earners. We earn your business. As a month to month agency (no contracts), business is earned on a monthly basis by producing results. We think all agencies should function like this.
Advertising is the key to scaling your business - and it’s terrible that people steal in the name of helping you grow.

I have read many informing/quality posts from you. I got a lot of free time on my hands right now and I am curious about your sign spinner strat. I have $100 to put towards ads this week.
What would you do, buy a sign and spin it for 4 hours a day or buy 8-10 yard signs and put them around town? Which one do you think will provide a higher chance at acquiring about 6 costumers a week?
Lol the sign guy was a joke and putting out signs around town will not get you that many customers… especially 6 per week. You have to market multiple ways constantly to obtain customers when you are a new company. Make sure you have the proper knowledge and equipment before you jump into things because your reputation is on the line. You need to get out around 5000 flyers to expect to get more than one call that may or may not turn into a job. Adverting online like Facebook paid ads and buy and sell groups are another good way to advertise.
Grizz said he lined a week of work up with it. Im handing out 5000 flyers right now, but I can only walk for 4 hours a day in this texas heat, was wandering if sign flipping in a shaded spot would be good for the other 4 hours of my day. Just looking to stay busy for now. But if he was joking ill just stick with my flyers, some signs, and studying.
I got mad respect for people who can walk door to door for 8 hours.
The sign spinning was absolutely a joke. I was on that thread. Can you post a pic of your flyers? I’ve considered doing them but haven’t yet.
@Brock that was a joke that i played along with to trick a friends competitor on here but i will say yards sign are amazing. Alot of mine have been taken down but ive landed around 10 jobs from putting out 25 yard signs and i still have 75 more signs just no time to put them out. When things slow down again ill put some more out but will avoid the spots that they was taken down at. Im not one to upset some one and i guess they was taking down for a reason. I only put them out where i see other yard signs.
Flyers and random door hangers was a miss for me. Ive since went with door hanger made specially for the " five around method" and works well although i haven’t been doing it lately job because im busy enough as it is.

@Brock where did you get the before and after pictures from that are one your flyer?
The one on the left is definitely a stock image from Google because i considered using it on my door hanger.
I don’t think it’s a stock image. I seen someone on here post it like a year ago claiming it was his. It probably just comes up on Google images when you type in house washing or something similar

. Type in pressure washing before and after or house washing before and after.
I checked out his website before I just did that search… turns out most of his photos are stolen. @Brock I understand it isn’t easy to start a portfolio but stealing other companies work and displaying it as your own is just wrong. It’s misleading and false advertising to your customers
