I’ve searched here, but can’t seem to find a good thread, even from OSHA itself. I’m looking for compliant fall protection for roof cleaning, but am seeing mixed results on ‘ground tieoff’ in terms of compliance. Has anyone had an experience good/bad/ugly with fall protection using ground anchors (bumper D ring, ground weights, etc). I want to make sure I’m in compliance, but don’t want to use fixed anchors on a roof. Lots of architectural roofs in my area aren’t all accessible from a ladder and will require some walking.
Thanks!
here is one thread

It depends on your state . Some states allow you to install osha approved anchors and others don’t . In my state of FL only licensed roofers can install anchors nobody else
Thanks, I searched for the topic but knowing myself I did it completely wrong!
I have done soo many things wrong here, and so far with stuff I’ve worked on, so don’t worry. People on this forum have helped me a lot, and I plan on asking more questions.
