Downstreaming a Dirty House or Property

I honestly can’t remember what size fan tip it is right now, but we only use them in breezeways. Buildings we use a 0050 shooter tip or no tip if it’s just one story, or two story with no gables. Some of the guys use a three tip Jrod with a high pressure fan tip for popping gum but I don’t like the weight. I just carry the tip in my pocket on breezeways or, of there’s a lot of gum, a turbo on a wand.

5 degree is mid range to higher……but can use on lower. I use shooter for 3 story or if it’s windy. Use 5 degree a lot….great all around nozzle in my opinion.

Ditto. Unless there are obstacles that require me to get up close to the house with my 25° fan, I’ll use the 5° for everything between 1-2 stories, and just stand back a little further while spraying the lower stuff. Less moving around, more controlled application of mix, and all around just a great time saving technique.

Another downstream project done this morning. 2.1 injector, DS’d approximately 1% with Elemonator. Dwell approximately 5 minutes then recoated where needed. Shady side of house - obviously - 55 degrees out, I got tired of waiting and DS’d straight SH (supposedly 12.5%) on last few stubborn spots.

Todays job i would say roughly 1% but lemon wash in from panhandle instead of elemenator and i like it so far. But as stated above some needed 2nd coat especially the fascia

Very nice work! …especially on those filthy gutters. Looks like you washed away the yard junk & knee high grass while you were at it haha.

Down stream quit working or was clogged or something so I pulled out the ole foam canon… Got a new one but never hooked it up yet… this was a 2.5gpm at the time. 10% SH in the canon with a little soap. Canon was diluted so no idea what percent dwell time was 10-12 min.

Good job on house and drive

Thanks Mr. Rick I’m trying lol.

Just did this nasty one, I did cheat a little on the back gutter but the rest was DS. I kid you not, the house literally glowed when the sun came out. Straight 12% and Snotmenade on my 8gpm and 2.1 injector.

Great job!

Huh, didn’t know you could DS stucco effectively.

Depends on the growth really - if its green DS works just fine. Black, we pull out the 12V - although after looking at Heaths set up, I’ll be adding an a gas powered AR as soon as I get a chance.

Terrible shadow i was still learning how to take half ok pictures was maybe my 3rd house or so.
2.1 injector had to hit alot twice and a couple i pump sprayed but mainly on the opposite side
Now i check my before pics as im doing afters so itll be closer to same angle lol

Mark the spot you take your before photos - use a pine cone, stick, utility marking flag, etc. That way when you decide to do the after photo you know right where to be.

I hate when I forget to take after pics on ones that would be great before and afters. I’ve just had so many that were nasty I don’t even think about after pics anymore. Had this gem this week. The whole house looked like this
