Correct remote valve?

But I dont I expect that the board energized and turn one way then when it its de energized it shuts down. When re energized it automatically just turns opposite direction. You really may be right I’m not arguing with you I just gotta know natural curiosity I guess

I think you are just confusing yourself more. If it doesn’t auto return when you disconnect power you have the wrong valve.

I do agree with the everything in the box thing I am definitely going to change that

Thing is I think he’s been using it for awhile and it’s working.

Never mind, not sure if there’s a battery or return spring yet.

Ok I get that but why is it wrong? That’s what i dont understand
Yes I have been using it for a few months three to four jobs a day without problem.

Keep in mind I played with all these valves and tested it all. It’s wrong or right. No in between. I’ve built tons of these boxes for folks.

Do you have this in operation or just building?

Ok then if you hit the off button and it turns the soap off you have an auto return valve.

I think he’s saying it has to be auto return or it wouldn’t be working. Then again, if it is auto return it should return to closed with power disconnected.

I honestly don’t know. Just seems like with a circuit board it wouldn’t be tough to basically have the board signal a relay to reverse polarity of the motor. It’s over my head though.

I cant wait to tinker with it

The boards are really dumb. They do not do reverse polarity unless you buy a very expensive (not amazon) one.

You can tell which one you have by the color of wires if it’s the US Solid. Red and Green is the reverse polarity. Yellow and Blue is the auto return.

If it’s working why are you tinkering? Lol

I didn’t plan on it till I was reading forum when I read your comment about it over heating I thought to myself well if the case maybe I should change or not use my cheap one.hence why I asked the question of why this happens. I have the skills to build a much better one if your theory is correct. I have some pretty bad OCD about things being done wrong if I did it wrong or my thinking about the valve is wrong I want to change it I just gotta figure out why my theory is wrong just part of my ocd

Turn it on and shine the thermal cam at it. That will remove all doubts.

Ok I will try it all tomorrow. What is the temperature of yours so I have something to compare it to

Whatever the temperature is outside. But mines a $220 valve

Ok cool thanks

Take a snap of it cool and a snap of it on after 20 min. You know what hot spots are. Look for hot spots and take a temp reading. I’d say if it’s hotter than 120 I’d worry about overheating.

Ok I will test. But i will say mine works. But yours is so much better I am definitely going to build something with 3 way valve set up will be a nice upgrade when the time comes. Are the valves in yours full open to full closed.
