Best place to buy a new Washer?

It’s on one of the videos I posted here a few years ago but I’ll get some pics. He had always used a single J hook to tighten belts. It caught on the right front corner of the pump and you always had to figure out which of the four pump bolts to tighten first to get it to align. When I put some skids together for him this winter I cut bar stock to go behind the pump and welded a threaded rod to it. Now when you tighten the rod the pump pulls forward evenly. I weld guides for the pump rails to slide in to make it even easier but that’s probably overkill.

That thousand bucks will be forgotten long before that machine wears out.

Words of wisdom that I will once again have to learn the hard way. You guys in the East Coast area have some knowledgeable vendors to work with.

Out here they all try to sell you multicolored tips and try to sell you on the fact a 4/4 machine is so convenient because you can load it into your pickup truck lol

How long ago was this? How much was the machine before shipping? Maybe I’ll look for box trucks near NC so I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Up here, the BE Commercial 4/4000 PW I used this year was 1800$. Pump leaked from day one. Replaced seals on it myself and it started leaking again. They sent me a much nicer pump after that in their defense. The second one is weird to use because it doesn’t kick like crazy when you pull the trigger. Find myself up on ladders instinctively bracing as I pull the trigger. Must be gun shy :joy:

Diego has 690’s in stock. That will bring the price down to about 4500. Less if you have off the section of hose that comes with it.

And you contacted the Garner, NC location. The old Xterior. They are clueless for the most part unfortunately.

Call the Raleigh store and talk to Diego.

I did talk to Diego, for shipping/delivery I was referred to TJ Pridgen at that location. Not sure why though. I guess I should have named dropped…….

As long as you talked to Diego youtr good. He won’t ship anything most of the time so I guess he had the Garner location deal with that. He is old school.

Always mention my name. It might not get you anything but I get a free oring for every machine I sell.

What pumps does he use? I guess I could call and ask him, but don’t want to waste their time until I’m ready to pull the trigger.

It was always udor but they have dropped in quality the last few years. I bought enough pumps of the old design to last until I’m done. So it will either be a udor or landa. Either over will get outlast a general, AR etc

i used to ship 4x4 axles for less than 100 bucks thru forwardair.com, check them out.

Well geeze Louise where can I find a good 5.5???

Definitely not paying MVP that kind of money to ship to IL!

A few of us have bought from BCE and been very pleased.

They even drove my trailer up here to STL from Georgia for free.

Man i did not think this thread would explode like this lol

They sell crap though, and lie about specs.

Lol. You say that just about everyone unless their name is Diego. :joy:

Members on here I respect have bought their equipment from there. Others have, too. And they all recommend BCE.
