Haha, I heeer’d that! I’ve worked with my fair share of yankees. Sometimes tone of voice needs translated like everything else with no animosity intended whatsoever. I’m sure the little dude will learn the lingo & be dishing it right back in no time. Either way he’s gaining valuable job experience that will give him a solid foundation to build on. Only burgers he’s gonna flip will be cooking on real charcoal at the family cookout.
To be fair, I also worked with a guy from Sparta, TN once…had to have a guy from Mississippi around just to translate…
I worked in Sparta, Tn for 15 years with around 75 employees…all great people with distinct languages.
There’s no way 75 people can be great. A couple of them had to suck and the rest covered for them.
That is true, you have to deal with the good and the bad…did not want to place them in with mostly good ones…
You need to polish up that front end on the last pic, it’s sticking out more than that Peterbuilt up above.
Spoke with her on the phone. Interesting convo. Thanks for your feedback!
Diego? What vendor is he with?
MVP services Raleigh North Carolina
Ok going to check them out! As of right now I’m looking at this now.
That’s a piece of junk with made up specs on an aluminum skid.
You right …
I dont get PP , their hot skids are built with an all steel platform and are pretty decent for 5k ish , but the cold washers have a cheesy aluminum frame.
Try changing out belts with their design also.
hey, im not ask that keen with Landa belt tightening system either. Theres got to be a better way. Oh wait theres is!! Geardrive.
seriously tho IBS, has MVP done something different than the 2bolt belt/pump tensioner?
Landa belt tightening sucks also. I won’t own a landa machine for that and a few other reasons. Diego’s custom machines are what I buy. This year he started using my design for belt tension and his machines are even better.
If we tell Diego that we need a custom machine and that we know IBS would we get a discount or would he double the price?
Seriously though, have been eyeballing upgrading this winter. Wonder if it would just cost me my first born to have something of his shipped to here or bellingham washington. Trying to budget a box truck as well and trying not to overextend myself.
Got a pic?
I took IBS’s advice and called Diego, had an awesome conversation with him, and speced out a 3500/8GPM machine, was going to pull the trigger, except it was $1000 to ship it to Oregon.
