Best injector on the planet and other fittings

No clue. Not as hot as an xjet, but hot enough that I try not to spray for too long without the proportioning tip.

Skrilla :money_mouth_face: :rofl:I haven’t heard that term since the early 2000’s…I forgot it even existed. Thanks for bringing it back for me :+1:

@squidskc how are those viton orings working for you? Just had another one of our blow the plastic barb apart.

Dultmeier now sells repair kits for these but they are $19 and there is an extra drop ship fee so they are more expensive than buying a new injector. The guy told me to save any bad ones up and we can send them into the factor for evaluation. Maybe if they get enough of them back they will change the orings in them…

The new Orings didn’t help me

After the new O ring swap in the new injector, I have not had a single problem whatsoever.

@squidskc @Innocentbystander Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like I have a 50/50 chance lol! We have had springs break before too so it might not really matter. I guess if they designed these things to be more durable they would sell a lot less of them. I know these are basically throw away items but $30 for a month of usage is a little disappointing.

Hey Brodie,
What new viton o-rings are you using and where did you get them? Also, is there a specific size that fits?

Thank you,

There’s a picture above with the part number. I just bought a kit from harbor freight for $7

Interesting, I use the gp high draw ,all brass, sending heat through it every time. The SH must eat stuff up more than my acids and soaps do. 1 will last me months.@ $15. Hoses and guns on the other hand. I have a cemetery full

Thanks, getting old as I completely forgot I had already seen this…hopefully will work even though IBS is still having issues

If we are just soaping and rinsing it isn’t a problem. If we switch to surface cleaner or turbo nozzle in the breezeways and then go to soap, it’s 50/50 if we have to walk to the truck-shut the machine down- go back and squeeze the trigger-come back and stick a pick up the barb and free the ball-then go back to work.

I’m with you. Don’t understand all the attraction with the Dultmeir ones. I use the $15 GP brass 2.1’s and they last 6 months. Just replaced the one I put in service first of Nov. Got a 3 year supply of spares.

So I’m assuming you run plenty of SH like everyone else @Racer ?

Yes sir. About 100 gal per week.

Well then. Maybe everyone is attracted to the pretty blue $30 tip then. Or not rinsing the brass high draw after every job…

For me, it’s the proportioning feature that I appreciate most. Running straight SH + elemonator in the chem tank and then being able to adjust my mix strength by swapping out tips has been a time saver. @Innocentbystander has mentioned the same thing a couple of times.

Why can’t you take the same porporation tips and install them on your drop tubes?

For one person that might work. When you have multiple guys and machines everything needs to be kept simple. That’s why I took all the remotes off the trucks

Gotcha. :+1: …that makes sense.

That’s how I feel about air pumps and booster pumps.
