Best injector on the planet and other fittings

Awesome, How long is the bed?

That thing in MONEY!!! Awesome rig. Hope it’s making you big scrilla.

This is working so far. Thank you for the find. I can honestly say I have only learned about three things from the forums since I got on here in 2007. You have enlightened me on 2/3’s of them.

I dig it! Probably because we’re chronic tinkerers. Finally took the time to put together these motorized ball valves.

Are those some I gave you or did you try some out. I think I had some at one point

I bought these on amazon since they’re stainless. I still have the two you sent me home with in the back up box with the solar charge controller you gave me.

Would this be the correct one for pressure pro 5.5 gpm 2500psi gx390?

That’s the one I use. Pulls like a freight train with 200’ of hose. Haven’t tried any more hose than that yet, but have no doubt that it will perform fine with 300’+ if I need it to.

I use the purple proportioning tip for regular house washing, and it’s plenty strong with fresh SH. I think that’s one size smaller than the grey tips IBS and Squid use on their 8 gpm machines.

I use the one with the blue barb (0.86) with a 5.5/3500 pressure pro belt drive gx630/5535 gp and 200 ’ of hose. It draws at 14:1 with no metering tip. I would be interested to see what ratio you get with that one.

So I bought the .83 I’m planning on starting with the purple orifice. (5.5 gpm unit btw) my question is how much should it draw in 60 seconds to achieve a good house wash percentage drawing straight sh.

Fairly simple math, and doesn’t have to be exact.

15:1 is a decent target ratio to start with (which would give you around 0.8% hitting the wall). Divide 5.6 gpm by 15, and you get 0.373 gpm * 128oz = ~48oz/m. Like I said, the math isn’t exact; ratios and percents work a little differently from one another. I’m too lazy to work out the problem the “right” way. It’ll be close enough with those numbers. (If we were dealing with ratios like 3:1 and 4:1, the errors would be much larger.)

Wow I’m not good with math you confused me lol but if I’m understanding with 12.5 sh I should be pulling. Almost . 4 gpm. That seems like a lot!

Yeah, it kinda does. I might’ve made an error… I don’t think my setup is pulling that much SH. I might only be getting 20:1, but I guess my bleach is hot enough to do the trick.

Any ds injector is going to vary a lot. I would definitely do a test with your equipment to see how much it pulls in your specfic case. :+1:

But something else to consider, is that at 5+ gpm, the solution is going on quick. It doesn’t take long at all to soap up a couple sides of a house. So your solution isn’t going to disappear from your mix tank rapidly.

That’s exactly what I plan to do I just don’t want to try on someone’s house I was hoping to get at least close I figured I’d ask here approximately how much it should pull. I was planning on filling a gallon jug and time how much it pulled. I was hoping someone on here knew a approximate amount of sh 12.5 I would need to pull to get close to my target percentage then if I get to a house and it’s too weak or too strong I could swap one smaller or bigger quickly. If that makes sense.

OK that makes sense you are right It only takes a few seconds to soap a house side.

Honestly, I have found the most effective way of adjusting mix strength is by observation.

Is it taking too long to work? Bump up the strength.

Is stuff sloughing off the siding 15-30 seconds after spraying it? Back off the mix strength.

If you’re nervous, start with whichever one is smaller than the purple. But I’ve found the purple one to be perfect for most vinyl homes. And I’ll pull the tip out completely to treat really tough spots like gutters or foundations.

Thank you very much. That’s exactly what I was looking for.

How hot is it without the tip. Any idea? I think we have pretty much the same setup so mine should be similar.
