Xjet m5 questions

We use 70’ x-jet hoses. In fact my two guys up north prefer the x-jets to downstreaming. I don’t care. I just send them chemicals and supplies. They’re doing the work. 70’ x-jet hoses allow them to stage two buckets and wash two sides of a house each without moving the buckets. Go to YouTube and search x-jet wizard I put up a video.

We also use 70’ x-jet hoses when we work from lifts. The barrel will stay on the ground and pull soap 30’ in the air. It will only do that with the next smaller size x-jets.

Tyler, who I built the trailer for was having a hard time getting the x-jets to pull on the lifts. He was using the x-jets made for his gpm.

Short answer: x-jet will still work with a smaller orifice. Might even work better.

You proved my point. I like Dan. But that question has been answered 50x before.

I’ll agree that you have to have thick skin here.

Best forum anywhere for PWing! :slightly_smiling_face:

And, IBS rocks!

I suppose I could just try the xjet I got with my new machine. Like you said it may even work better… some stuff is gonna be trial and error either way i suppose, so I got nothing to lose. Haha.

Yeah, I just started and didn’t know what I was doing and was being lazy. I literally did not use the search bar and just started posting, instead of reading reading reading. I learned real quick to read and search and I’ve learned a heck of a lot more doing that.

You have to realize that new people come on here every single day and ask many of the exact same questions get asked over and over again. When guys are running a business and, also have a family they’d like to spend time on, why would they want to spend the little time they have left in their day to type the same info that can be found by a 3 word search term. When they see a question that’s not a basic question someone always answer it. Imagine if you had a neighbor who came over every evening and knocked on the door and asked for the thousandth time, “can you come over and show me how to dig a hole”? Most would rather spend that little bit of free time they have in the evening spending time with their wife and kids than getting interrupted every night and having to go show the neighbor how to dig a hole again.

I’ve learned so much just by searching for a question on a topic I’ve had. For each topic I searched for I probably learned 100 more topics just from having to read and search for my answer. If you honestly spend

If you spend about 25 hours reading through old posts 90% + of your questions will be answered before you even knew you had a question. I’m dead serious too.

When people say use the search bar it’s because that exact same question had been asked a million times. Plus, they’re actually helping you to better yourself because of the added knowledge you’ll learn just from searching.

That’s a big response from a busy guy. Seems like it would have been easier to A. Answer the guys question or B. Not say anything. I’m sure he’s got the point after reading a few posts how to search now.

Just trying to help the people who get their panties in a bunch understand that most have more to do than to spoon feed the same information over and over again to people who are too lazy to type 3 words in the search bar or don’t even realize it’s there.

A suggestion to noobs who don’t like the advice given by veterans here. Find a forum more to your liking. Between the web and Facebook there have to be at least a dozen PWing forums. This one is great because of the helpful and experienced veterans here. The get tired of answering the same question daily. Can you really blame them?!

fresh meat asking for help. It’s called getting pointed in the right direction. We ask a question at some stage or another. All I’m saying is dont rag on the guys the do over and over. Yeah we know people don’t search but when they do find out they can they can find a wealth of info here. I agree 100%. But it’s only after you read you find out you can search for pretty much anything. Let’s encourage not criticise.

Brick, that wasn’t my thread. I pointed out some good and great people on YouTube. Serious question. Why are you being argumentative?

I think you have taken this out of context. I’m not trying to argue with anyone. In fact quite the opposite. I’m here to learn and adapt a system that works for me. I agree 100% it is all here if you use the search button. There are lots of people with good advice or a good lead to what your looking for. Yourself included. The YouTube videos you suggested were good viewing. I’m just trying to point out that you learn from asking a question. I also believe in learning from your mistakes but if your smart you learn from other peoples as well.
