What would you price this home and deck?

As stated earlier, you don’t have decent equipment or concept of effecienty.

Dang Coop.

They want more than the green stuff off in my area and I give that to them. It’s all about efficiency. Whether it’s setting up or washing there are ways to work faster without sacrificing quality. He said $1600 and a day and half on that first house. I can 100% guarantee I can get it just as clean and in less than half a day. I’m probably semi ocd and definitely focus on detail but just can’t see that house taking anywhere near that long. If I wouldn’t have found this forum before I got started it’s hard saying how long it would’ve taken me. It’s all about being open minded and learning new ways.

I have a hydrotek scx30008 which is there top of the line 8gpm diesel on diesel machine. We do window details, driveways, long decks inside and out, sidewalks, inside gutter cleaning and everything. When we do decks we scrape out the crap between the boards so the wood doesn’t rot. I can spend 2-3 days with my guy on a 3500 square foot home.

The market is different here in Sonoma county California. People’s expectations are high. I am not trying to argue with anyone I respect all you guys. I am just saying that due to the need to do an extremely thorough job it takes quite a bit of time. I used 60 gallons of 12.5% on a 3500 square foot home which did include the roof. Maybe I’m wasting chem but stucco needs a high percentage.

Our prices may seem high but personal monthly bills here with a family of 4 approach 8 grand a month so need to charge accordingly. Electricians, plumbers and most tradesmen charge $200 an hour here…

His invoice showed the house at like $566, it’s all that other crap that has to be cleaned, all the flat work, pillars and stuff like that add lots of time for me. I am learning a lot from all of you and appreciate it. I’m just sharing my experience and what my area is like that’s all.

Most of my customer’s houses are stucco. You don’t need more than a gal/1,000sqft…roughly. Use better surfactant and more dwell time if needed.

I use softwash systems green wash and terra wash both all the time along with hot water. It’s what I learned about first and tbh never tried anything else. What would you recommend? Would love to find something better
