I have a 5.5 gpm 2500 psi and did a house yesterday with the standard jrod from Pressure Tek and both rinse nozzles kept pulling some soap no matter how long I waited.
Fortunately they were friends and had a business parking lot on site so I could just stand there and move the water flow and let it hit the blacktop and wait…
Ended up running back to the trailer between every soap and rinse… large property with 4 buildings… it was exhausting…lol.
Also my rinse tips didn’t reach the peaks of the historic house, could only rinse the highest peaks with my soaping nozzle… water just seemed to peter out and not really hit the 2nd story and it wasn’t windy when I was doing it.
I modified my xjet to lower pressure so I put a Lance in-between m5 nozzle and xjet orifice. I just a 1/4 plug and now I can put my m5 nozzle on when. I downstream too
if you look I just put a mtp quick connector plug on the m5 nozzle now i use for everything even when I’m not using xjet. To me they are so much better then jrods but thats me. Also they sell some knock off blue ones at Walmart and home Depot that have same concept that work good but definitely not as well as m5 nozzle
I am trying to avoid having to return to the trailer all the time, especially in a place like the one I was on Tuesday… would rather take that time to chill in the shade when the heat index is over 100… call me a baby…lol
The “rinse tips” dont really benefit you at all. You cant shoot as high with them. It is too much pressure for vinyl. The only thing they do is stop pulling soap. I very rarely use them. If i do, its only to hit a stubborn spot on masonry below vinyl.
