I am on track to purchase this and mount it on a trailer. What jobs will I be capable of? I am a long time lurker and have all winter to study. Bless you all!

Do you have anything to contribute? $13k for a quality machine that is locally serviceable is not a lot of money to me.

I’m well aware. It took me a full year to come up with a question I couldn’t find the answer to. That’s when I started an account. To answer your question, it’s capable of carving a watermelon if you use the right tip. Otherwise, it’ll handle anything but a roof if you know what you’re doing.

If you’ve been a long time lurker then you’ll already understand that this forum isn’t a magic 8 ball with instant answers at all times. You would have also likely read up on different machine builds - types of engines, various types of pumps, accessories etc - and been able to draw a conclusion as to whether or not the machine you are considering is worth it or not.

A follow up,
Lots of the guys here are tinkerers. They feel that building your own machine allows you to become more familiar with it and allow you to more easily diagnose a problem when one arises. Purchasing a pre made unit takes away that touchy-feely bond you get, but if it works for you that is all that matters. If it fits your business model then by all means go for it.

Yes, I do. Let me put it in more plain terms, you’re getting ripped off. But hey if you want to spend that kind of money on a washer that isn’t even a 5gpm for the price of a good used truck, go for it.

I think everyone is just not going to try and explain it because you are going to argue with every opinion that doesn’t align with the one you’ve clearly formed already. No one thinks it’s a good deal, but if you do that’s really all that matters…
