What is everybody paying for SH these days?

Let there be life!!! Almost made a new post but decided to bring this one back to life. You can call be Dr. Frankenstein if you like

Was trying to call around to get better prices on SH local. Probably the best I’ve been able to find so far is 15gal (12.5) carboy for $63.90 w/ $30 barrel deposit and $25 once returned. Comes out to about $4.59/gal

Waiting on a return call from a sales person somewhere else for 55gal drums.

What is everyone else paying?

4.25-5.00 a gallon depending on where you go in my area of Lexington, Kentucky.

That’s what I’m paying. I have yet to find a company around me that doesn’t want an arm and a leg for delivery or dock loading of drums… Menards $5 per gallon is easy enough to grab/store for my needs.

118$ for a 15 gallon carboy plus 50$ deposit for each carboy.

I’m really hoping this 55 drum thing comes through. Luckily enough I have a few chemical distributors in town. It’s just been a pain having them get back with me.

Well ■■■■ that is awful! Makes me feel better about $63.

I am complaining about $2.92 -$ 3.50 a gallon. I usually fill my tanks up. I am in Pensacola so we go through a lot of SH when we are cleaning.

Yeah. It’s bad. I can go through my chemical distributor and it’s that price I mentioned, or i can go to my Costco and buy a 3 pack of 7.5% bleach for around 20 bucks that’s just under 3 gallons.

My first year before I found a distributor willing to work with me I just did that. It was an absolute nightmare. Not only did I have to pour each one individually into tanks and mix by hand, I then had to get rid of like 30-50 1ish gallon jugs every day which was a pain in the butt.

Ideally I’d buy a 275 tote and have it delivered but my shop I use is a storage unit that would frown upon chemicals being stored there and no way would a delivery truck be able to get in there.

SH has pretty much been the bane of my existence in terms of logistics up here.

$1.89 here in SW Florida. It was $.89 before covid.

I’m going to need to place an order with you. Then I’m going to need you to hotshot that up here to me. Shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Just load it up, drive 4100 miles or so through Canada, and deliver to my doorstep preferably :face_with_tongue:

I wanna say we’re $5-5.50 delivered here in MI.

2.25 after tax. In south florida

about 4.50 here.
