It’s some kind of filter but I’ll ditch it. I’ll grab some 1/2 inch hose when I can and switch to a ball valve.

Upgraded to 1/2 inch hose, ball valve, and a new 5.5gpm pump. It’s working a lot better now thanks @Racer. Anyone know a better way to connect these 2 100ft hoses? Getting a bit of a leak at the connection.

Superglue. Lol just kidding I don’t know. I would throw a 45 on that wand. It would make it much more handy

Whats the psi flowing through that poly hose ?

You know, looking at it, I’d probably put new hose clamps and double up on them. I double every hose clamp that I can just to be safe.

Teff tape on the hose barb, heat up poly with torch, assemble , double up on the clamps or get a 1/2 " plastic hose mender.

Good point

60psi.

I can get these locally too! You’re a genius

That hose mender thing @Hotshot linked may be better long term. Best thing would to have one continuous length of hose but we’ll get there someday!

:joy: costs under $10(Canadian). They had the one you mentioned but only for 5/8 - 3/4. If this one doesn’t do it I’ll order one of those :+1:
