Weird poop knife thread

Had bathroom remodel/fixed due to valve in shower leaking… well now its been done for a week and both toilets arent flushing, and takes 1-2 hrs to drain bowls… snake wont touch it.

Before roto rooter gets here can i put on the red tip and yellow noodle and shoot it in the cleanout???

Sure, why not. but for our entertainment please have someone video while you’re doing. We’re all eagerly awaiting results.

May i add there is a pregnant wife in the house, she isnt happy about peeing in the tub since she got home.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Use the right tools for the right job. Get a drain and sewer nozzle like this one:

ru20-min

Hope that helps.

Will they deliever within the hour from canada?

And 1/2”???

There are lots of different sizes I believe, find a local supplier and cancel roto rooter

I know about as much, slightly more maybe, about plumbing then AwesomeWash knows about making friends.

Don’t cancel roto rooter, but hurry and try your experiment before they get there. It’s been a long day, we could use some entertainment. LOL

Are you on a septic system?

Its not an experiment. Plumbing companies use this method all the time (not the red tip of course) Seriously, if you have a pressure washer and long enough hose just do it with the right tip.

Nah, city non sense

Just out of curiosity, if you had the work done a week ago and it started then, why haven’t you had the guys that did it come back out?

Oh he was here…

A lot of plumbers just use a regular sweeper nozzle and a garden hose. I had a bad clog over the winter and it worked like a charm. We couldn’t even use the shower because the water would back up that fast. I’m on a septic but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work the same. Mine was clogged right near the baffle because I could feel the nozzle hitting. It’s worth a shot.

sweeper%20nozzle

You dont need to know anything about plumbing, get a sewer/drain tip, fish your hose until you feel the blockage, then pull your trigger. There is an extremely small hole at the tip to break through the blockage and once you are through it the back facing holes blast the rest of the blockage away. It works much better than a mechanical rooter.

Red Tip!

Do you have a leaf blower? Try that and video it. Be sure to shove the leaf blower nozzle as far down the toilet as you can get before hitting the trigger.

Maybe the pregnant wife should squeeze the trigger…Would certainly make for a good video, both during and immediately following…lol!
