Unloader block pics

I know a lot of guys have been mounting their unloader on a block to help the pump last longer due to vibration and kick. I’m still running the stock unloader but will be replacing with a Zeromatic at some point in the fall and I’ll keep this one for a back up…it’s only 2 months old. I couldn’t find many install pics of the unloader mounted on the $22 block from Pressure Tek. I ended up mounting to the frame of the trailer out of way of things…it works great.

That foamer shoots pretty far. Do you use a M5DS or low soap tip for under porch roofs and tight spaces? That’s seems like it would be a bit strong for tight spaces.

Nope i just use the foamer.
It gets on tight spaces and not strong at all

Do you like the foamer more than regular ds? Other than fleet washers and detailers ive never seen anyone use a foamer? What are the pros? Any cons? I probably womt buy one either way but I’m curious.

yes I like it better, looks better, a selling factor.
I still DS, the foamer has a 30ft reach only, so I still have to use a 0040 or 0050
It saves you on chemicals since it clinches longer to the siding and roofs.
Cons, I will say weight? if that is a factor? which I think is negligible.
Been using it for over 6 years, got one for my 4@4k and one for my 8@4k

I’m still curious how you clean roofs with a foamer?

Are you bamboozling customers?

I assumed he was just talking siding or other substrates that can be cleaned with lower % mixes. Is he doing roofs like that too? I actually like that idea now that I think of it. It could be very helpful on clay barrel tiles. I have the same qc on the end of my roof gun as I do on my other guns. Now that I think of it I don’t see why it would be an issue at all as long as the 12v jad enough power to create the foaming action. I’m actually going to buy one now that you said that. If it doesn’t work then I’ll throw in my shed with all the other stuff I thought I needed, but if it does… Oooh then I’m do a little dance and sing a happy song.

Whisky bent and hell bound anyone? Or Mayne thats just my happy song.

Just in case you don’t know. At risk of derailing the thread… But for everyones benefit.

I do maybe 1 or 2 a year at most.
But i use my 4@4k with hot water

Using a foamer

I wonder if one of these. (I’ve used them before for a pw) would draw from a 12v

Fill it with half water half soap at the end of your gun

Seen them on internet but never used them

As long as it has enough psi it’ll pull from it. But that’s a tiny bottle. It probably works the same as an x jet. I doubt it would pull a high enough % to really do roofs. Maybe a basic asphalt roof but I don’t even get called to asphalt roofs on an annual basis. Mostly clay tiles or fake clay (cement) tiles.

I think the idea was to just have some soap in there to add foam to the bleach you’re pumping with the 12v. Unless I missed something

No. Judging by your previous posts you prob nailed it on the head. More likely I missed something. I tend to post when I’m a little influenced by the under after a long days work. Its been a long day and an even longer week. I’m currently enjoying loooong sloooow sips of bourbon. Hank Williams Jr anyone? I know with all you southern folks on here I’m not the only fan. @Innocentbystander maybe you like his daddy?
…maybe.

I like sr but not jr

I could see that.
