Twin turbo lance

Anyone ever use one of these? Is it a gimmick? I don’t see how it would work at higher pressures if your splitting your line. I just like the idea of more coverage per swipe so to speak. Just looking for a faster way to blast paint off foundation walls this year.

here is a picture of one

thanks

I’ve got one somewhere. It will absolutely beat you to death. Like driving a car with unbalanced tires.

Simply put you are dividing your flow by two, reducing your orifice at each to match the pressure you had before

My one turbo is heavy enough. Thing looks like a death trap lol

Your one Turbo can’t shake a stick at the two step truck wash guns. Just the ball valve is over a pound!

I’ve never seen a two step gun before. Those are neat little contraptions. All those fittings are done real well too. Maybe these rubber scrubbers aren’t so bad after all

They’re currently done very poorly. I made a better one with WAY less fittings. It took some time but it weighs four times less.

I just liked the ocd thread tape job. Soothes the soul lol

That one does look a little extra but I wash houses so I kept my 2 cents

Looking at that thing makes my shoulders sore! I like how you used the garage door as a mantle

Whoa there that one is not mine. The one I made uses CNC machined fittings that I dreamed up and modeled in CAD. I ended up making my own 3 way ball valve, chemical injector and check valve

How about a modified x jet at the gun with a small 3 way pvc valve. We had considered getting into truck washing a few years back and I thought that would work well

yes sir, thanks.

I’m mentally lazy when it comes to PW hoses and nozzles. In your expert opinion, would you think it would be worthwhile to use this twin turbo nozzle lance? In my testing I estimated that my machine (although marketed at 4k and 8 gpm) is really more of a 3.7k and 7.8gpm machine (I can’t remember the specifics from my tests 3 years ago). Will the turbo, with reduced flow, push crap while turboing? I just want to strip concrete/block walls faster.

I have the old wand nozzle combo mastered, I can clean a sidewalk without damage fairly quickly shuffle stepping with a turbo. I do this on cracked or broken concrete sections I don’t want to push my SC around.

This rubber scrubber went the remote route after carrying around that boat anchor for years. We can pull 3 different chems now

If I knew what all that stuff was I’d probably be very impressed :joy:
I’m kidding i get it. Clean system too, well planned!

I’m just waiting for you guys to figure out some frequency generator that cuts out the need for a hose. Mine got caught on a stump a few days ago. Had to spend 30 seconds using my legs to walk over and unwrap it, real pain.

seems the stick hose is not just my curse. It bothered me so much i went and bought 300ft more hose.

We call them team members

@Dirtyboy Sorry I missed this! Flow is definitely needed to push. All too often there is a need for 2 wands just feet apart

Apologies I missed this one too. With that setup you’ll only be able to apply chemical at low pressure as there’s no way to bypass around the injector for increased pressure at the nozzle to rinse
