I do run the k7.3 on my older machine but really like the zk1 on the new. What I’ll run from now on. Less finicky and a basically no jerking on the reel.
@GeorgeNicholson you’ll love a flow unloader. KEC has them (ZK1) on sale for like $72 right now. Just got the flyer this am. Don’t know if that’s good price or not, but cheaper than I’ve ever been able to buy a K7.
While you’re at it, get a new unloader bloc too. I’ve never seen one rust up like that. Had nightmares about it last nite, lol.

That is sweet water hose though. I run the same hose for supply hose on a couple of the trucks but in 5/8" id. Found it cheapest on Amazon
Can I use 5/8" id on a 3/8" barb? Just clamp it down more right? Or am I just over thinking it and just do it…
Do it! If your hose is rigid you can soften it with a heat gun then cinch it down

It doesn’t have to be 5/8. 3/8 is fine or 1/2" Just any piece of decent hose will work. Just don’t get something that’s only rated down to 25 deg.
For as much as you need just go to TSC or alike and get it George, just don’t get poly or junk garden hose. If you can get 1/2 or 5/8 appex hot/cold garden hose that’ll work to. You just need something more pliable in cold temperatures.

Thanks for the offer @Greenman , but I’m looking into atleast a 33,000 gvw straight truck with air brakes and a 20/ 26 ft box with a Tommy gate. Like a Kenworth T 300 with a C-6 Cat.

Not really, But I keep obtaining more and more plunder, my 3500 dodge and 2500 GMC are getting tired lol. Glad ta see your smelling what I’m fartin though.
