You also won’t ever forget to remove it before lighting it off
I had an old flame from 1982 but she was only 12. Other than that it’s just my wife and she has all my passwords written in a book in case I forget them and can’t sign into the Facebook
You kill me sometimes! My aunt had a old flame look her up on FB and she denied his friend request so he just showed up at her work. She called security on him so then he sent flowers and a apology letter. They ended up getting married 3 months later. Both of them were never married prior. They’ve been living it up ever since. Yup I don’t need to be “looked up”
@dperez @Hotshot that’s one of the reasons I dont mess with it. Plus i have seen people consume themselves with it. This forum is about as social as i get. Well i do have Instagram but I like looking at all the stupid pressure washing things people put on Instagram
Same here, and the whole worlds gotten nosey, I think .I don’t even want interwebs hooked to my TV
They say if you took the average amount of time most people spend on Facebook they could have a college education in a year. I wish people would stop worrying about what other people are doing and apply themselves. I cant stand people who tell me they use it strictly for business or family we all know that’s ■■■■■■■■
I have an Instagram account. After two years I finally made a post when my son passed and it took me 30 minutes of watching you tube to find out you aren’t allowed to post from a computer. Only from a phone. One part took an hour of searching to post. The business Instagram accounts have almost 800k followers but my brother handles all that
Best choice ive made in years was deleting Facebook about 5 years ago. So much less drama and bs.
Just hit 38 degrees, Gonna go out and see what I can break today😂…
No pressure washing for me today all inside work. I would rather be pressure washing
I had to make a personal facebook to get a business page. I only use mine for business and have absolutely nothing on my personal. I use my business page to run ads and stuff which definitely helps land quite a few jobs. I’m 40 years old and have never had a facebook page until I started my business. I’m thinking about letting my wife take care of the business facebook because I hate everything about it.
I’m sure alot of people get alot of work from it. I just never needed to do anything like that or any advertising. Let your work speak for itself. If you do good work word will get around at least that’s what happened in my case. But I dont have that many competitors either. We got a whole bunch of chucks in a truck but really only for real players in the game
When you first get started it takes a little more than word of mouth to land jobs right out of the gate if you want to keep a full schedule. Facebook allowed me to do that in my first year. I had one lady leave a review and pictures of her deck on her facebook page. She runs some sign language school for toddlers and is popular with the young moms who all have money. Just her leaving that review landed me 12 jobs with an average ticket of $900 in one day. No matter how much facebook sucks it’s just another tool in your marketing toolbox. A lot of people will jump on a business facebook page before even calling just to vet the company. I hate it but it’s just the way it is.
That wasn’t even my point though. I was just commenting that I have a facebook page but I only use it for business and am hardly ever on it because I hate it so much. I’ll just jump on to post an ad every now, answer my messages because people contact to book jobs through it, and to comment on reviews that people leave.
I’m sure it’s a good tool. When I got started Myspace was still a thing. Word of mouth is really all you had. I still stick with that. I know I should try doing some advertising I just dont know when I would have the time to do more work. But it’s a little different for me I’m still on shift work at the firehouse so my days off are filled with 3-5 jobs a day already I do use thumbtack to fill holes I have been happy with that service it is a little expensive but those are the give a qoute over the phone do the job get paid kinda jobs easy money if you ask me
I had no idea you were a old timer. I was imaging you in your early thirties. You don’t have your pic up in putting faces to names do you???
Thank you Anthony @Firefighter4hire, That was the problem. I’ll admit I tried to cheat and replace the micro switch, But had to replace the whole thing, Up and ran all day, So thank you Sir.
No worries my friend. I went down the micro switch road before they never work right. If you get out on the job and it happens again pull the stem out be careful dont loose the spring and washer sometimes you can hit them with fine sand paper and the will work for a little while. I would order another one and keep it with me
I’m ordering 2 as we speak. also put that flow switch upright, Your idea makes perfect sence,Thanks again man…
I do not. Good thing or else you might think I was in my early 20’s…lol
What could I spray on the case of that transmission to clean it up some? Will aluminum brightener clean up cast aluminum okay?
