The bypass to the pump got me confused. I’m gonna have to YouTube that one. I did put a shutoff valve on my DS Injector so I don’t pull any soaps when I do my antifreeze.
But if I downstreamed my acid then I’d have to turn 2 valves at minimum to upstream soap. I don’t mind the DS’ing of both. I don’t do 100 piece fleets so speed isn’t that much of a hurry. I can still clean 32 pieces on average of 13 minutes or less per.
It does, That’s my conundrum. Trying to figure a way to do both upstream and downstream on one machine. Only way I can figure it out is to go back to stock and no line from unloader to buffer tank, It be back to, unloader bypass line to pump again. Then ya gotta worry about the pump overheating. I did that before when I first started out years ago. I dunno…
Nope. But @pressureguy does.
I can’t pull the trigger on buying that, Simply because it’s a huge hassle to manage it and draining the lines all the time. But @pressureguy would have way more advice on this. If you think about it , Its basically upstreaming but your soap is not going through your pump, definitely a plus.
It’s the face on the jug that sells it man , After I’m done, a billion be chicken scratch. Here’s my Ford trucks to Mike Rowe multi billion dollar face.
There are sometimes I cannot stand dealing with customers. The same guy I always have issues with paying on time just keeps asking for more and more and more. We went out and cleaned at the first of the month. Cleaned all the trucks as requested, so we though. He then came back and said we weren’t supposed to clean the trucks on the west side of the building, 5 in total. I explained to him there was zero correspondence regarding that and they were definitely dirty and needed to be cleaned. 1 could have possibly not been cleaned but I’m not in the business of charging for something that I didn’t clean so they were all cleaned. I told him I will take one truck off and that I will no longer clean the vehicles on the west side of the building without an email stating such a week prior. I email all my clients the week prior to inform them that I will be out on such and such days to complete the cleanings and to have trucks moved away from docks if they want the rears cleaned. Last month he didn’t want to pay because the backs weren’t cleaned and had to forward him the emails stating I will not be responsible for moving their trucks as I am not covered under their policy to move their trucks, I’m not letting my insurance go up if a brake line goes bad and we cause damage. I also asked him to get with the building owner to see if we can hook up for water so I can get the vehicles cleaned in one day rather than having to go back and forth for water. He hasn’t done that in the 4 months I have asked. So, I informed him that during the winter that I will be charging a water fee if I have to get water from a facility, Culligan is closest to my house and they will charge .30 per gallon ($300 for the two tanks it takes to clean their trucks). He informed me that I can continue cleaning in March when the weather gets better. I said that was fine. Today, he is past due again for payment so I just sent him a reminder that yesterday was Net+15. He paid but sent an email stating I can get water from another facility for .25 gallon. But this place adds 35 miles to my trip, where Culligan is on my way, literally .25 miles out of the path I would take. I explained that I am only charging for the water, with a receipt to prove what I paid and not mileage or business hours.
So freaking irritated with this f*cktard. Sometimes it’s hard dealing with people that were given the business rather than the guy who built it (his dad).
