Truck washing (Soaps, Tips and Tricks)

@Infinity The brass that @dperez had up were 1000 psi. I don’t know about the SS.

Not yet he’s building them now man.
All the parts are out of the machine shop.
And he was pulling an all nighter last night , Fingers crossed.

Were you able to time yourself with the two-step gun yet? Curious to see a video of that bad boy.

Also, @Hotshot, Chad has been awesome to work with. Super nice guy and really communicative. I’m looking forward to trying out some of his chems. Thanks again for sharing his info in here.

Guy on the fleet washing fb page. This is his own fb page on bottom. Gun is awesome, all built with SS 3/8 components off the gun except injector. he’s got a video on the fleet washing page using a psi guage while soaping and rinsing. $350 right now.But that was for the first 10. I think its gonna be a lil over $500 after that Screenshot_20200807-173011_Facebook|281x500 pretty damn good gun so far @Joecleaner

Today sucked! Part of it was self induced, stayed out till 2:30 last night. Got up at 7:30 and started washing at 9:30 and we didn’t finish till 7pm. Wasn’t even a bunch of pieces either, 23 pieces total. But damn those side dumps were a pain in the ■■■, packed full of hard dirt. Definitely don’t want to see another day like this for a while

Are you pre soaking George?

Presoaking with acid? I wash the trucks as I have done for the past 15 months. Had to wash all the stuck on dirt first and then 2 stepped. The dump trucks, i 2 stepped but once they dried I saw the film never broke, so we opened up the Fleet Prep all the way and still didn’t break it. Brushed all of them real quick and then 2 stepped and they came out nice.

Lol, i didn’t say it right, sorry.
I meant pre soak the stuck on gravel etc with water…
Those frac sand trucks we used to wash we had a washer wet everything down first then turbo nozzled the trailers. It helped alot.

You use degreaser as your #2 yet ?

No, I knew I had to brush but was hoping I could get away with not by howning up both the #1 and #2.

I almost broke out the turbo nozzle, definitely should have as I would have saved some time
