HELL YEA we did! Had a burger in Lead, SD (town next to Deadwood) and it was top 3 burger of all time. Hung out in the hot tub while it was in the teens drinking whiskey…and that was just the first day after driving 8 hours there. Next day we hung out in Deadwood and did a little gambling. Wife hates to gamble and never played Roulette before but got her to break out of her shell and play, she really enjoyed that. Last day we went to a distillery and then to a brewery to eat and drink beer and then hung out in the hot tub till it was time for bed and we got up at 3am and took off.

I think our next trip will be to the Ozarks or to Broken Bow, OK. I’ll never do a hotel again after getting the cabin for just a little over what a hotel would have cost. We paid $180 a night for the cabin, could have slept 3 couples without using the pullout couch. A comparable hotel, without a private hot tub, would have cost us $150ish a night.
