Truck Build - War Wagon 1

Why do I have a feeling that @racer has war wagon 2 getting built, this ones just a decoy to leave him alone :joy:.

@Racer where do you get those exterior switches you use for your pumps? Awesome build. That and your trailer is heavy cleaning power.

“Bunch of yahoos around there!” You crawling in there to fuel and start it or did I miss the easy way in the video @Racer

Don’t worry about it. I’m often mis-informed but rarely wrong, lol.

Home Depot on the switches. The plastic waterproof box they haven’t had with red toggle lately so got these off amazon

Yeah, have to step on rear bumper to start. Can fuel from inside, but since I’m usually fueling both tanks that entails having to start and stop 2 different fuel pumps, so that’s what stool is for. Lot quicker than getting in and out of bed of truck. LOL, Grizz and I moved that skid all over the place trying to figure out best place to put it… I didn’t want too far back though because of it’s weight. It actually works out pretty well where it’s at. It’s literally 15sec to get stool out and in place.

Its top quality @Racer. Heck of a job. I love those water tanks. Saves a ton of room. That’s an awsome hot water unit as well. Can’t wait to see it in action.

I like those slimline 100 gallon tanks. I can’t find them on their website. I’m guessing shipping costs as much as the tanks.

@Racer I was just re-reading this thread and got to thinking that you may want to check some of the off-roading forums to find a better solution for the rear sag. You might be able to put in some lift springs and keep it at a better ride height.

No need for any overpriced “offroad” junk. A $300 set of Hellwig 2500lb helper springs would make that truck forget it even had something in the bed. Set them and forget them. I think I already mentioned that on this thread but helper springs > air bags for loads that are mostly the same everyday.

Really don’t plan on doing anything. Only time it does is when I’m pulling trailer which is maybe 20% of the time and we’re only talking couple of inches… It’s not like front end is pointed to the sky or anything. But a friend of mine has the springs like William mentioned on his flatbed build and they seem to do the trick pretty good and I think he paid like $250 installed. But I’m going to keep like it is for awhile. the timbrens are doing ok for now. Thanks for the idea though.

@Racer Which battery did you use to power the reels? Is it the one on the hot water machine, or a separate one?

They’re in parallel

I just replaced the shocks with Bilstien 5100’s and made a huge improvement. Truck isn’t lifted but that line works for constant heavier weights too.

The grounds too or just the hot?
