The steps literally collapsed on you. That’s crazy. Never seen that.
I was actually only doing the top platform of the deck because she was getting the stairs and that little area with the flowers replaced… Luckily it was me that fell through and not the elderly lady. No major injuries but it didn’t feel to great lol.

Yeah I’m not sure how it exactly happened, but I ended up at the bottom of the steps… not on my feet lol

I think that some of it is the fact that it catches you by surprise and you have no reaction time. One minute you’re standing up. The next, you’re on the ground.
