Trailer Set Up's

Nice clean setup. Will be a good money maker for you.

Thanks! Yeah got it last year and had it paid for in less than two months as an add-on to our window cleaning service. So working out great, can’t complain. Glad I got the heat, been doing commercial too. Love that heated water, helps on the concrete. Anyways…thanks for all the info on forum, appreciate it. Oh, like your latest build, pretty neat stuff, eventually I’m wanting to go to a flatbed, seems more convenient.

4x7 trailer with a 100 gallon buffer tank, 4x4 pressure pro, some kind of under bead tool box that I got 4 free. I carry all the other stuff, under a tonto cover, in the trunk.

I like the Jeep. The trailer doesn’t need to be on the road though.

@Innocentbystander I’m okay with it. You are welcome to run your own trailer if you want.

That’s 4600 lbs of water weight, positioned pretty far forward of the trailer axle. A ton of weight on that poor 4Runner.

Also, is that a 4 wheeler trailer?

This is how people get killed. Ignorant on many levels.

I don’t drive with water in the tanks. Chill lol

I don’t drive with water in the tanks.

Still a (literal) ton of weight on your truck’s suspension when parked :man_shrugging:

Also, I think a lot of people here feel a duty to point these things out, so anyone researching doesn’t take it at face value and think it’s ok to pull something like that full.

Trailer jack is down when stationary. I’m going to be removing one tote. I got them both for $75

I just looked up my weight capacity and I’m maxed out at 3200. I’ll be removing the other tank for sure. Rest easy pressure washing brothers.

Research before, not after.

I’d never drive with full tanks first off man. Secondly he said take them both for 75. Why wouldn’t I just take both of them lol

Agreed. And you’re right. I can’t expect everyone to know that my water tank will be empty while
Driving. My bad. I’m still learning!

I’ll send in an updated photo tomorrow of the set up! Thanks

Posting this so people will know what we are talking about in the future

Accident waiting to happen

My new trailer build for 2021. I built the aluminum skids so the washer and supply hoses could be separated from the buffer tank skid and then the whole unit could be lifted out. All I need to do is remove two bolts and disconnect the softwash coupler and the entire unit is out. I didn’t want to have 20 holes in the trailer floor. I also built the ladder racks as a removable unit. Pull the pins on each side and they’re out.

The proportioner design and build list was from @TexasPressureWashing (thank you). I have a three way valve installed between my hypochlorite tank so I can draw using a drop stick if I need to apply something other than bleach, and also to flush my propotioner. My chem tank is the 55 gallon drum. It works for now. I also have a 15 gallon tank that I use for house wash on the left side if the buffer tank. It is not installed in that picture, but is now. They all have banjo fittings so I can easily transfer chemical for house mix. I am running 5/8" supply hoses from water and hypochlorite and a 1/4 for soap on the proportioner, 5/8 from proportioner to reel and 1/2" on the reel. I bought two new steel eagle reels from pressure tek. So far I love them.

The front of the buffer tank is two inch pvc and two supplies running to the high pressure system. I ran two so the provisions were there when I purchase another high pressure unit. So far, the unit seems to work very well. Just thought I would share for anyone searching for ideas.

Thanks
