Omg no, it’s perfect in the short gun. That’s like my perfect setup, lol.
My ball valve is the same as that one or very similar. I love it. Maybe I’m just adjusted to it.
Or maybe you just have popeye forearms
You’ll like the next one. Let me know when you get it installed. I have a training regimen for you.
Actually, I barely use the pressure line. We soap with a roof pump and rinse with the pressure washer, but my wife says I suck at rinsing so she insists on doing it, lol. She has trouble opening and closing the valve, but she’s never complained about the weight of it or it being in the way. And she’s 5’5" and 130 lbs lol.
I need to get a wife to do my rinsing…
I’m available.

Ball valve and swivel. I keep 5 of each on my rig. They are amazing, I haven’t had one fail yet, I just like having extra in the chance that it does fail.
Today was a stormy day @Racer so I was stuck inside doing admin malarkey, but I snuck 20 minutes to go put both ball valves together. I’ll get to use your set up tomorrow as I have a house wash, driveway and concrete patio, and a vinyl fence.
I’m gonna break out the GoPro, play with this thing, and make a video that directs people to your ball valve video. The only difference between mine and yours is that I run one male and one female end because I didn’t want to change all my fittings on my guns/surface cleaner. I did get the stainless steel fittings though.
You want to be Squids wife?
Can you blame him?
It’ll take you a week or so to really get to know it. If it’s not a real tall house just soap with it too You’ll quickly learn about how far you can turn it and still get soap. Same with pretreating drive. You won’t get as much air in it with connector turned that way, but you should still be able to shoot about 15’-20’ high and get soap.
Glad it wasn’t worse.
I had about a mile long driveway to wash today that took me all dang day. It was as boring as it sounds. Had to take out tannin stains and clean general muck and schmoo off of it. I can officially say I’m not only a ball valve convert by choice, but a ball valve fan. I didn’t use the wand at all today. Partly because this driveway in particular being a mile long was also meticulously edged prior to me getting there.
Long story short thanks for talking me into a ball valve @racer and everyone else.
It’s nice when customer has edged when you get there. Glad you like it.
I won’t work without my ball valve…I am a believer…and don’t care that others may not like them.
Just a thougt @Justin_Treu WD40 is a “water displacer”. try a penetrant with a lubricant in it.
wd40 is great for getting things loose but will not keep them that way. Penetrants with oil, silicone, or Teflon might give you better results.
have a good one and wash on
Is pressuretek the only one that carries that particular ball valve? Anyone know? With shipping the SC is more than retail. No offense to PT. Just can’t fathom that’s the only dealer that carries that valve in the USA.
You dont need a ball valve. Especially with the cleaner yoy ordered. I’m in the minority on this but I’ve made it a couple of decades without one
